How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Checkin process is extremely frustrating !!, also the air conditioning set up is so incorrect that it ends up creating starvation zones in the room, particularly there is no fan in the room and with this kind of air conditioning placement the room remain warm with poor air circulation.

For a 4-star hotel, it was very basic. Staff is nice though and all in all, for Delhi, I guess, it was alright.

It is a well-located, friendly hotel at relatively low-cost. I would stay again if travelling with work or with friends, though I would likely pay more elsewhere if I was making a special trip with my wife / family.

Although basic, the rooms are comfortable and very clean. We didn't have breakfast, but we enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks in the communal areas. They have an in-house travel agency that can arrange airport transfers and day trips if you wish, and they provide a helpful map of the city if you'd prefer to navigate the main sites yourself. We'd definitely return.

Relatively expensive although premium expected for central location. Staff attitude rather transactional.
Relatively new hotel in the mold of the Ibis chain. Clean simple room with very comfortable bed. Quiet. Great position in side street off Janpath road - Connaught place in walking distance.

Unreachable minibar. Theoretically there is a minibar on each floor with complimentary items, but the technology does not work if you want to get them. You have to chat the operator for a long time who finally will send a boy...

Location is strategic but not great in itself. I preferred staying in GK 1
Hotel is very good and restaurant/breakfast also quite good. I just don’t recommend staying around Connaught Place

Walls are really thin, you can hear people Doors banging Bathroom was really small Nothing to do around there unless you grab an auto or walk to metro

Some of the rooms had an awful smell. The staff could have been more informative about the local area.

Small room.
The room was very clean and modern. We had free water, coffee/tea & snacks. The staff also helped with the SIM card for India. Breakfast was good.

"Plasticy" hotel with very basic amenities you can normally see in one or two star hotels in Europe and North America, that comes with a high price tag for Indian reality. You're really don't get your bang for buck with this hotel...
The location near Connaught Place and many tourist attractions. The cleanliness of rooms and a decent breakfast

Sound proofing in the rooms not great and cold air coming in through an air vent made it a bit cold.
Nice smallish hotel that feels like staying in a budget chain hotel in Europe. Room pretty clean and comfortable with a safe. Staff were nice, breakfast good and the complementary snacks/water/soft drink station on each floor came in really handy. Centrally located so easy to get to most tourist attractions and <5min rickshaw/uber to Connaught Place/Circle where we found many options to grab a drink and eat at night (no hotel restaurant).
