Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThe heating was not working, we asked the staff several times to fix it for two/three days and every time they were telling us to wait 5min for it work. But actually they never managed to turn it on. It was a really bad situation considering it was winter, even if with an extra blanket I got the cough and I caught a cold.

DenmarkHotel cancelled our reservation at 2am in the morning, about 1h after our landing and only after calling (else we would have probably paid for the night). This was because it could not be reached driving due to circumstances that could have been foreseen (roads closed due to elections). Additionally, the hotel offered NO help after the cancellation, which left us with no options where to stay in the middle of the night and lead to us getting massively scammed. Never seen anything like this.

IndiaThe rooms look good but are not that comfortable for the price that's offered. I was getting nearby hotels at the same price but this one was promoted so tried it out. Rooms are decent. Bathroom had too many night insects surprisingly. Breakfast buffet was decent.
At the centre of Delhi, easy access to all the nearby spots.

AustraliaThis is the price you would pay for a 3-4 star hotel in Western Europe, however it has the quality of a nice hostel in Europe. Everything is quite clean, and there are some nice snacks outside your rooms, however this does not make up for the fact that breakfast costs the same (and again - has the same quality) as a hoStel in Western Europe, the rooms offer no luxury and the staff are quite unhelpful compared to the amazing service we enjoyed at other hotels in Agra, Jaipur and Bangalore. I will definitely shop around next time I go to Dehli.
The location is good in terms of proximity to the major sights in Dehli, however travellers should be aware: DO NOT WALK AROUND THE CITY WITHOUT A LOCAL GUIDE. Despite what a staff member at reception told us, it is not safe outside. We had two men and four women in our group of various nationalities, including South Indian, and we were followed not some 300 meters from the hotel. Our bus driver kindly accompanied us outside, and then we became invisible. It's not the hotel's fault, it's just New Dehli.

United StatesOur favorite place in India!
We canceled the more expensive hotel we were planning to stay at to end our stay in India and returned to Bloomrooms. We felt like we returned home. After staying in other hotels, we can say that we liked Bloomrooms the most - because of the staff, the availability of drinking water (instead of wasting plastic bottles everyday) and Amir who is so great for travel arrangements. There was no one like him in any of the other hotels we stayed at - including a 5 star hotel. in Calcutta! The hotel is simple but has everything you need. We also appreciate the location even more. The market at Janpath near the hotel has the best prices for Tibetan items and for textiles. We were surprised that the best place to buy our gifts and souvenirs was so close to the hotel. We also loved the nearby Southern Indian Restaurant - Saravanaa Bhavan, only 10 minute walk from the hotel. (It's marked on the map in the lobby.) Good food, the staff can recommend mild dishes, clean and inexpensive. We ate both lunch and dinner there on our last day! :-) Staff was wonderful and caring and we thank the manger, Neha Rana, who really cares about her guests -

United StatesWe loved this place.
This simple 3 star hotel has everything you need. *Perfect location: Walking distance to two metro stations, and walking distance to a bazaar and a great South Indian Restaurant *For the rooms on each floor they have a water dispenser so you can always have clean drinking water. You can also have hot water from the dispenser to make yourself tea and coffee. They also have some chips and other snacks on each floor. *Great travel advice. Amir helped book us an excellent one day tour to Agra with a wonderful safe driver and very good, knowledgeable English speaking guide there. He explained how to use the metro, arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport when we arrived and also suggested we take an Uber because it was cheaper. Just for Amir it is worth staying here! *Wifi was excellent. ^ Staff are wonderful and caring. The hotel manager, Neha Rana, made sure we and everyone got the best service. * The breakfast is a very good mix of Indian and Western food. You can also order eggs or a Paratha. You can also order food during the day. It's nice to have a save and clean place to eat. .
