Another host was not so good - it was difficult to get any information out of him. He told us house boat tours were not available (which turned out to be false), and we were forced to take an overpriced motor boat tour instead. In the end, we spent way more money than we had to. It wasn't the cleanest place we stayed at during our vacation. The towels were stained, and the pool area wasn't cleaned.

Breakfast was very good. One of the hosts was great - very friendly and knowledgeable. Watching the birds at sunrise was amazing.

If you're looking for a resort vacation, this property has only 4-5 rooms and is good for a cosy, private stay.

The room we stayed in was spacious and had a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly, polite and kind. They addressed all our requirements very well and promptly. The service was excellent, especially Manu, and the food was delicious too.

Limited food choices, and quality wasn't great given how nice the place was in comparison. The nearby temple also made a lot of noise in the middle of the night since it was festival time, so woke us up, but assume there's not much they can do about that.

Beautiful, serene location (other than the music from the nearby temple). Nice clean rooms & pool. Friendly and helpful staff.

The location is remote and there's nothing around - not even a convenience store or medical store which means you're dependent on the hotel and staff for any daily needs, food, etc. The overall lighting in the resort could be better in the evenings - it was a bit too dark and subdued.

Lovely little place tucked away in rural Kerala and right on the lake! Rustic, charming and authentic Kerala style hotel made for a memorable stay. The food options were limited but delicious. Breakfast was amazing. Special mention to Sethu - the property manager - and his staff who took great care of us while being polite and helpful.

Location was pretty far from Allepey, around 45 minute taxi journey. The food options were quite limited.

The facilities were all very clean and new. Very up to date amenities. Perfect for a family, solo or couple! All of the staff were extremely hospitable and courteous. Sethu especially made our stay very comfortable and tended to our every need.

It's quite remote so you need a cab for nearly everything. This combined with the food being very expensive at the location is not ideal. The nights can be noisy due to dogs and music from the neighborhood

Everything about our stay was just perfect! The boat ride through the backwaters right in front of the property was such a special experience, and we loved spending time by the beautiful pool. Chotu, the adorable property dog, completely stole our hearts! The room was cozy and comfortable, and the architecture of the place was absolutely stunning. It all came together to create the most relaxing and memorable getaway—we already can’t wait to come back!

The pool was very cloudy and uninviting. We had food there one night which was awful. Very little to do in this area and at the hotel.

Amazing place to have a good break ! The rooms are really comfortable and well decorated with traditional and comfortable furniture . The bathrooms are spacious. The view of the backwater is amazing at sunrise and dusk . Staff is extremely polite , kind and efficient

We had amazing made to order Breakfast. All the staff was very curteous. They made us feel at home.. if you are a nature lover person, you would definitely like this resort. It was located right on the bank of Lake Vyambanad.. overall one of the finest experience of my life.

This place is like a tropical dream. We loved every second of our stay here, it was the highlight of our trip. The staff were amazing and helped us arrange everything from a boat cruises and massages to transport and dinners. Special shout out to Sadhu who was so warm and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend this place more! It’s beautiful and the food was delicious too.

Room condition is very substandard given the price, interior , curtain everything could be so much better. Food is not good, plates and other utensils are not clean.Network is not available most of the times . There are lot of mosquitoes but no provision to control them or provide net on the bed. Pool is not very well maintained but still one can Njoy with family. No lights outside completely dark and gloomy , so all the amenities outside are not usable after 6. Breakfast is served very late around 9:30, again options are very limited, we were only given poori and Bhajji. No provision for dinner or lunch if not said before you need to order through ZOMATO but only 2-3 restaurants are available.Basically 2 star treatment with 4 star price.

-confusion around check in and check out times -some staff unwelcoming and unfriendly -no explanation of anything available (eg. Activities, wifi, laundry, etc) -laundry was going to take over 36 hours to do which couldn’t be done on a 2 night stay -bathroom had a lot of mould and didn’t feel clean

Clean and compact rooms and villas with nice view over Pathiramanal Island. Sunrise over the island is a must watch. Clean infinity pool, friendly staff.

The resort is simply amazing, offering serene backwater views and luxurious, top-notch rooms that perfectly capture the authentic Kerala vibe. The hospitality here is second to none, truly the best I’ve ever experienced. The staff, especially Mr.Sethusugunan went above and beyond to make every moment of our stay extraordinary. When we were stranded on an island due to a sudden rainstorm during a Shikari boat ride, the resort staff didn’t hesitate to rescue us. They picked us up, arranged a delicious dinner, and even ensured our safe return. The genuine kindness and humility of the staff were incredibly touching. It’s refreshing to know such wonderful people still exist in this world. We experienced Kerala Vibes at its finest over this stay. From the stunning backwater views to the thoughtful decor and heartfelt service, this resort perfectly embodies the charm of Kerala. This resort is a slice of paradise, especially during the festive season an unforgettable experience filled with beauty, care, and magic.

Our stay at Blusalzz was a disaster from start to finish. The person in charge, Manu, seemed completely uninterested in providing even basic service. The AC stopped working halfway through our stay, the TV was non-functional, and we had to give food orders 4-5 hours in advance! To make matters worse, the shower was broken, and the room was infested with lizards. There was zero hospitality, and they kept running a noisy lawn mower, completely ruining any sense of peace. The so-called "spa facility" was just false advertising – they had no in-house services and had to call in an external masseuse, which was both inconvenient and added no value. Even basic activities like boat rides or kayaking required external arrangements, which they couldn’t properly coordinate. All in all, Blusalzz was an absolute nightmare. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, avoid this place at all costs. Horrible experience – never booking again!

This is not 5 star as advertised. 3 star at the most. No choice in food. Skeleton staff. No service as expected from 5 star place. Do not take card payment- cash or Paytm / UPI so international travellers need to be aware. Booking.com described a completely different room to what was booked - this needs to be corrected. No mosquito nets but air conditioning. Food is eaten outside so lots of mosquito bites!!
