Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceFirst and foremost, the warm and welcoming reception I received upon check-in made me feel instantly at home. The staff at the front desk were not only professional and efficient, but also went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met throughout my stay. Their genuine smiles and willingness to assist truly set the tone for a remarkable stay. The attention to detail in the room was truly outstanding. The cleanliness and tidiness of the space were evident from the moment I walked in. The room was beautifully decorated, and the comfortable bed provided me with a restful night's sleep. The amenities provided were of high quality, and I particularly appreciated the luxurious toiletries.

Wow, what an absolutely stunning place. I booked royal nest room, and it was so incredibly lovely, and such great value. Really well designed, delightful free standing bath. Great shower, nice big TV with comfy sofa, all the facilities you would want, very well appointed with comfy bed and lush furnishings. The staff are amazing. Could not have been more helpful. The downstairs restaurant, The Library, is brilliant, whether its the scrummy south indian breakfast, the brilliant Thali's, or the a la carte menu. Really fine south indian food, and its also a good place to work, with decent tables with power points to be able to work as you go. I'm not sure I can find a single fault with the place. Location wise, its close to the airport, and close to World Trade Park (lots of food options there too). If you're looking to be near the tourist places in the centre, then maybe you want to base yourself ther, e but then it wil likely be noisy. This place is in a leafy idyll and you feel a world away from the chaos of the city centre, and yet its not too far. I especially like the fact that i said I wanted to leave a review and the manager said that they don't like to solicit reviews - for me its a mark of just how classy this place

IndiaService was very slow. I had to change 3 rooms at 11 pm in the night to check in .there was no wifi for good 24 hours. Dinner finishes at 10 so if you land at later flight...suggest you have dinner and come.
The rooms are really big. the place looks very new and it's very well done. the dining area is very pretty and tons of books to read.

IrelandThe power kept going off every few hours and that meant that only a few switchboards and appliances worked during that time. I couldn't charge my phone one night because I plugged it to the switch that had no power throughout the night. One of the days, the lift didn't work properly and we were stuck for five mins in there and it just kept hitting the roof and wouldn't open on any of the floors. We managed to get out on the ground floor somehow and didn't use it again. Our room was in the 4th floor.
Great value for money, the room sizes are quite big for tge price and we were pleasantly surprised as soon as we entered. The bathtub is the perfect addition to make the room look more luxurious. The hotel is on the grounds of Hotel Clarks Inn so feels like a nice little escape from the city. The location is near the airport and far from most tourist spots in the city. Takes about 30 minutes in a taxi to get to city center.
