Customer service was over and above . The manager Vaishnav was very very helpful and knowledgeable as well. Always there when you need him. The other guy Ajay gave great service in getting food or making tea for me as and when I requested. I had a wonderful experience. Thanks to all the staff.

While functional, the facilities could use a facelift. The overall cleanliness of the room was alright but left more to be desired. The location of the resort was not the best as it was located about 300m away from the main road and cannot be reached with a car/taxi.

I recently stayed at Chilanka Lake View Resort that had some noticeable drawbacks but also some redeeming qualities. While the facilities and location was less than ideal, the service at the hotel was excellent and offered great value for money. Giving credit where credit is due. The service at the resort was excellent. The property manager, Vaishnav, was friendly, accommodating, and went out of his way to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. He was always available to answer questions or provide assistance, and was quick to address any issues that arose during my stay. I really appreciate his assistance and hospitality. Overall, the resort is perfect if you're looking to enjoy the backwaters in Alleppey on a budget, no frills.

Food options are very limited. They only serve local and tasty breakfast. But lunch and dinner need to order from outside.

A wonderful lake view location in Alleppey. The staff is great and very helpful. You can constantly see shikara's and boats in the lake while seating in the lobby. Overall it's highly recommended!

The rooms are very dirty stains are all over the places on the walls linens are smelling. Also I booked massage in this resort so the massage room is nothing but a store room he just put a table there and everything else is there in that room like mattresses water bottle. Massage people book just to get relaxed in a very beautiful and clean and calm soothing place but this is just a dumpyard where they are giving massage to people. Strongly avoid Also the breakfast you have only one dish either adiappam and appam with tea that is only breakfast they have

Once you reach this resort the front rooms have a very nice view that is the only plus point of this resort else everything is bad you cannot reach this place if you are not travelling with bike you have to walk at least 400- 500 m from the main road its very badly located

Room walls, curtain, bed, furniture not clean. No water mug, when asked attendant said people break it so he did not keep. Pillows had no cover in one toom. Sheet and towels were stained.

Overall, I had a great experience with the Chilanka lake view resort and staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to weekend getaway.

It's not maintained at all. Rooms were not clean, in fact the room given to us on our first day( we chose river view room) was completely in a bad condition with Wall paint coming out, the wardrobe being taken out and it's ugly wall visible right there. Furniture is too old and degrading. Overall, the room ruined our stay experience. When we complained to manager and told them that we will be giving a bad review, they upgraded us to their best room on 2nd day of our stay( the one with front lake view) which surprisingly wasn't anywhere near to the photographs they have used( was much better than the 1st day room though) but could definitely be more cleaned and maintained. Overall, property's location is nice , with it being just beside the backwaters, but doesn't make much sense if the room just puts you off. Also, the owner threatened to cancel the booking if we didn't pay him full payment before even reaching the stay, i negotiated to pay some advance and rest after occupying the room but he was very rude( His reasoning was that lot of people cancel their bookings if they reach property during evening and hence he asked full money since we were reaching late in allepey, which doesn't really justify his behaviour) Manager sorted it out for us. One can definitely find cleaner rooms around for this price, if location and backwater views aren't a big priority.

Had a wonderful and comfortable stay at the resort. It was an an amazing experience having the backwater view right from the room!. Hotel crew - Vaishnav, Ajay Kumar, Rashid provided great hospitality! Totally worth booking!

Way to locate the hotel could be challenging however it worth it. Beautiful location , clean room and superb hospitality . Manager vaishnav is very helpful and have big smile always. . Care taker Ajay alwaya there at the hotel for any assistnace, extremely humble.
