Late process for check in and check out fromt staff. Washrooms are not clean. Bed and towrls and stains. Over priced.

The whole hotel reeked of some awfully strong air freshener. You just couldn't have any breath of untoxic air. On top of Chennai's pollution, you come to a hotel and get smashed with that awful smell. The breakfast needs to be figured out. If you are unlucky, you have no seat or probably share the table with someone. Currently there are big constructions going on making it painful to travel in and out of the hotel.

After the initial room we got (neighbours playing music loudly), we asked to get another one and that was much better and more quiet. Windows were on the other side of the main road and we got a small kitchen within our suite. The hotel has a lovely pool and a fairly decent gym (sadly smells strongly of air fresheners). Hotel has more of a business people vibe, so it's probably nice for those who visit for a short time.

While the food quality at Citadines was excellent, I felt that the variety could have been better, especially for longer stays. A more diverse menu with additional options across different cuisines would have enhanced the dining experience. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall comfort and convenience of the stay.

My stay at Citadines was truly exceptional—it felt just like home. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The staff, right from security to reception and room service, were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience. The facilities were top-notch, making my stay even more convenient. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and functionality. The overall ambiance was inviting, and every small detail contributed to a pleasant experience. One of the biggest advantages was how pet-friendly the place was. Traveling with a pet can often be challenging, but Citadines made it effortless with its welcoming environment and well-planned accommodations.

The only problem was that when we arrive there was no rooms with king beds only with twin beds, which is not a best option for spouses.

Everything was alright. The breakfast was good and enough. The staff from the receptions helped us with booking of a taxi, because there was a problem with our Uber.

If it weren't for the slightly cold welcome to the hotel, I'd probably rate this higher (the bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast much recommended). You get what you pay for - a mid-range hotel in an area of Chennai where you need a bit of patience to get around to/from the city centre.

I was in Room 637. They joined 2 single beds to form 1 big bed. Not comfortable as You can feel the divider in between. Avoid room facing the main road due to noise from traffic and metro construction.

Room was very well appointed and spacious. Comfortable pillows. Breakfast was good with Indian and western options.

Fantastic facilities, very clean and secure Room had a full kitchen and large patio. Lots of extras in the room. No extra charge Dry cleaners were fantastic and also repaired a split in my lining without asking, just wish I'd got their name to thank in person All staff very friendly and helpful, nothing a bother to them. Bed was comfy and so we're the pillows. Bar was expensive but seems to be in India Will definitely look at this chain when travelling again
