They should serve proper tea during breakfast instead of tea bags. Rest everything was excellent. My stay was very comfortable and pleasant. Value for money!

I liked the hospitality of the staff, very courteous and polite. Mr Sanjeev Singh from Reservations helped me for smooth check in and check out. The food quality was good with many option. The room was extremely clean and hygienic.

This is a very old hotel. The staff tried to overcharge me when I checked in and took an extremely long time to check in. Service overall was very slow and not friendly. There was also loud noise from the streets. Would not recommend.

Although we booked a twin room none were available. We were recollected after seeing the room. The room was incredibly dirty, including soiled underwear from previous guests and food left on the floor. Although cleaning was requested many times in the end we found a hoover to clean the room ourself. Sink broken and not fixed during stay so water poured over the floor. Very unhelpful staff

The beds were too soft, everything felt run down, breakfast was very average, could hear other room's flush in our room etc..basically for the price wasn't a great or comfortable stay

There was so much to not like. Essentially, they have a building that's been there forever and they haven't really put in the hard work to uphaul their systems. Noting down the issues as I remember them chronologically (as in, issues that we faced from the time we entered till the time we exited) - The swimming pool wasn't functional. The entire reason for us to book this hotel was that we wanted a day of relaxation, which would include a dip in the pool. Turns out, they had 'just gone under maintenance'. As we figured while staying there, it was a general excuse to not operationalise the pool - The room was tiny; worse, the bathroom could barely stand a single person. In fact, having a bath there was such a task. And all the water seeped out and into the main room. Moreover, there was no drainage to help get rid of the water. Using the bathroom was impossible after a bath. It kept getting dirtier and dirtier each time we entered it. It was a traumatic experience - The WiFi didn't work - There was no way to switch off the bright lights in the balcony - which made it that difficult for us to sleep - When we got up in the morning, there was condensation everywhere. Somewhere between their air conditioning coming on and off, the entire room was covered in moisture. All our stuff was damp, including our electronics. We were supposed to grab some breakfast, come back to the hotel, rest a bit, and then check out at 12 to move to the next location. Instead, we just packed our bags and ran out of the hotel.

The only thing we liked was the balcony attached to the room Other than that, this has to go onto the short list of horrid experiences that I've had to deal with in my life

Pool needed to be cleaned. It’s far from the Ganges due to traffic but we still had plenty of time down by the river.

Sure it’s old and run down but it’s still great!! Varanasi is full on and it’s nice to get a little reprieve from its ‘hecticness’ Pool & garden great. Shame pool was dirty. Didn’t stop my kids :-/
