Couldn't find fault at all

My Wife and I visited India and stayed here as a stop off for 1 night. Having travelled from Hyderabad and Mysuru, Clouds Nest was the relaxing night we much needed. Away up on a hill, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it was easy to relax and unwind. The room was beautiful, well decorated and maintained.

Welcoming of Lyju and Vishnu, very helpful and also Nandoni in the kitchen. The peaceful location with great views on the tea plantations. The confort and size of the rooms and the design of the room and living room. Full and varied breakfast.

Our Visa Credit Card didn't work well in Tamil Nadu and we had a hard time to find cash in Ooty. Hotel is quite remote and the hotel does not offer dinner. You always need a car. Our room was very wet inside at the big window, thus curtains start to mold. It didn't bother us, but might look icky in a few months/years. Bedside lamps didn't work. Staff was not very helpful with information about surrounding area or toy train. All in all for this price I just expected more.

Very modern and spacious apartment. Good breakfast (Indian and Continental). Very nice bathroom and hot water. Tea/Coffee/Water provided complimentary in room (to make).

Cannot thing of anything

Very new and clean, out of the busy areas of the town. Friendly and courteous staff. Really loved the home cooked breakfast. Not a big spread but very tasty local dishes.

The room offered a spectacular view, as if we were nestled within the mountains themselves. The sight became even more awe-inspiring with the drizzle.

On booking.com it was mentioned that there is a private balcony. Whereas there was no balcony at all in the entire property. I was expecting a private balcony. This was disappointing.

Mosquitoes tend to enter the room especially at night due to the cold weather.

Housekeeping ladies were the best. Treated us like their own and prepared delicious breakfast. They also cleaned the place very well.

Rooms were not cleaned during the entire stay. A basic cleaning daily would help.

A functional restaurant with even limited menu will be a big boost given the location away from town. Breakfast spread is good but a basic menu could be made available throughout the day.

An exceptional location. Scenic view and perfect location for a quiet stay. Very tastefully decorated and neatly maintained. Multiple avenues available for short excursions all around.. luxurious rooms with all amenities. Lyju was extremely helpful, responsive and took care of all issues well..

No net, no clear instructions of how to reach front desk

Property is relatively new and of a very high standard. Clean and thoughtfully furnished. The view from the room is epic it is mystical. We truly loved it however they did not have any internet and we were not able to reach reception as for the first time in my 35 year of travel I could not figure out what number to dial. We tried all numbers you would expect to dial to reach front desk including (zero, one, 100,etc) however these guys were out of planet earth and chose a number that I'll not disclose and will leave it for you to guess 😭. They miserably failed to share that front desk number and did not tell us that the net is not working and never even shared a wifi key with us. With the weather is so wet and cold in ooty and being on the fourth floor the last thing you want is to keep going up and down every time you need something. Basically we couldn't reach reception and no net. This really shadowed the experience. Other than that it is a good property

It's slightly far away from the city market (around 2.7 kms) but that works in its advantage also as it's very calm and quiet

The property is difficult to find unless you have precise instructions. There is no restaurant here for lunch or dinner, but you can order take away meals. Immediate area has no restaurants, but a few basic shops.

The rooms are beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and have wonderful views. It is very peaceful location, which is quite far from the centre of Ooty. Fabulous terrace and lots of flowers. Possible to walk into town from here (downhill 40 mins). The manager was very helpful. This is a great choice if you want peace and tranquility.

It would have been gr8, if dinner is also available, atleast for a paid price.

Liked the room and balcony in front of the room. We have taken the advantage of candle light dinner with the open place available in the location. I liked the stay. This location is suitable / recommended to stay for more than 1 night.
