We had a very disappointing experience during our 2-day stay. The private pool, which was one of the main reasons we chose this place, was in a filthy condition — it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. There were food particles floating in it, and despite informing the staff multiple times, no action was taken throughout our stay. The basic amenities were also not functioning: the WiFi was down, the phone in the room was disconnected, and the room lock wasn’t working. When we requested assistance, the staff member walked through the entire room with dirty shoes, leaving muddy footprints, and yet no one showed up later to clean the mess. To make matters worse, our driver, who accompanied us from Pune, was treated disrespectfully by the housekeeping staff simply because he wasn’t a local cab driver. This behavior was uncalled for and completely unprofessional. Overall, this was a highly unsatisfactory experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Coocasa Mahabaleshwar provided an unforgettable experience. The combination of excellent service, luxurious container room accommodations, just 5 minutes walking from the main market and attention to detail made it one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Note: This is my experience in the rainy season. During summer, I am not sure. We took the Porta cabin room on June 27th with a private pool. However, it was never near to my expectations and photos. 1. The room floor is wooden paneling, which remains wet always. 2. The bed and bed sheets remain cold and give a moist feel, which will not make it comfortable to lie down. Room must be warmer to give a pleasant feel. 3. The pillows were moldy and cold. Sleeping on it was never possible. 4. The floor panels were full of hairs 5. The pool outside is full of leaves (up to a certain extent, this is acceptable as they have got an open pool). But still, the water and the pool must be maintained in a better way. 6. The door of the cabin cannot be closed fully, but it leaves a gap. I was scared all night that any reptiles or insects may come in seeking a warmer place from heavy rain. 7. The curtains were never washed and it smelled bad. 8. The sitting space outside is always wet, leaving no option to sit out and enjoy the rain or weather. 9. No comments on quilt🙄😥

Location is something I was looking. Benefit is just that you are 5 mins away from Mahabaleshwar market.

Breakfast and the staff is good. The theme is good. Needs a major revamp in facilities but has huge potential to be one of the best spaces of stay in Mahabaleshwar and that too at a prime location.
