This incident happened on 22 September 2023. Booking.com should take action on this.

IndiaI booked this hotel seeing good rating, but this is all fake. The location is approx 7km away from Shri Ram Janam bhoomi. You will have to take auto or e-rickshaw from this place. If they are going on booking then it will cost approx Rs 300/-. The moment I was parking my car in the hotel I felt my money was going in the drain. This was non - refundable and non - cancellable booking. One of the staff (Suraj) showed us our 2 room which was booked for approx Rs 3000/- per night per room. Total 2 nights total bill Rs 13709/-. One of the room was not smelling good, so asked Suraj to change the room. He denied. So I went to the owner and asked to change it otherwise I will move out. Then he allotted different room to us. We have to ask Suraj to change all stained bedsheets and stained pillow covers. Pillow are so dirty from inside, you will puke seeing it. Asked Suraj to give us 4 pair slippers for 4 members, he gave 2 pairs only. For anything you have to reask things multiple times. Same stuff happened to get dental kit, they have no clue what the heck was that. We ordered food from zomato and asked for 4 plates, 4 bowls and 4 spoons. They said they are sending it. After 5-7 mins again asked them by calling on the number mentioned in the menu, they said have some patience we are sending (sabr rakhiye bhej rahe hai). Very rude behaviour. We booked for 2 nights paid for 2 nights but checked out in 1 night only. This is a total waste of money. Owner is cashing the opportunity. If you are planning for a stay in Ayodhya, come to Ayodhya then search for hotel. Check rooms and facilities first. Don't pre-book it. Everyone there is cashing the opportunity.
There is nothing which I liked about it. This is a Dharamshala and not a hotel. You will feel every single rupee is going to drain. Don't pre book any hotel in Ayodhya.
