How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

It's not the hotel but the restaurant in the hotel. I sincerely request the hotel to hire some Kerala chefs; the food is lost between South Indian and North Indian with no peculiar South flavour or authentic North Indian. To the travellers, you have multiple options in Guruvāyūr from where you can have a wholesome meal.
It's one of the only hotels which is premium in Guruvayur. most others look fancy from the outside but Devaragam has maintained its property really well. Very comfortable stay and wonderful staff.

Wash-basin inside the room and that is gross.
Best location as it is only a walkable distance from the railway station and Sree Guruvayoorappan temple. Vegetarian food restaurant has good choices.

Food quality has to be improved. Sapthaswaram has very limited menu and the quality is no where near good.

rooms have become deteriorated. all linens and towels have become old. the room freshners used makes any allergic person feel sick and fall sick. so harsh a nd it creates sneezing. Ac not working properly. no south indian snacks available for evening tea . rooms need refurbishment.
Of course the staff are so warm and good that they will do everything for making stay comfortable . South Indian food - restaurant sapthaswaram is good to have vegetarian food.

Since the hotel is located near the Guruvayoor temple, the hotel staff/management should consider the requirements of visitors who stay in this hotel. 99% of the guests who uses this hotel is to visit the Guruvayoor temple. They may need to attend the temple in the early morning or depending on the temple timings. The hotel management should consider these timing and arrange breakfast accordingly for the guests. . I attended the temple in the morning and returned back by 10:00, where the hotel staff didn't arranged breakfast for us stating the time is over for breakfast. Even they didn't deliver the food in the room at least. Hence I wouldn't recommend this hotel to those who are visiting Guruvayoor temple.

Currently due to the construction of an overbridge and service roads in the area; finding the main roadway to the hotel was little tedious
The location of the hotel, the restaurant within the premises and the parking area was excellent. Initially during the check-in process the staff was little confused about the contradictions in the child age limit stated in the policy of B ooking.com and hotel, accordingly they collected an extra amount for the additional bed as their policy states the child age limit as 12 years, while that of Booking.com is 17 years. However after they realised that the amount calculated by Booking.com includes the cost of additional bed, the cost I paid in addition to what the booking.com states is reimbursed back to me during the check-out.
