Many employees in the staff, but none of them were caring about us - just chit chatting between themselves the whole time and not giving a fuss about the guests. 1. The rooms differ much from the photoshop previews shared here; specially the top end suites. 2. Each morning we were pressed by the room cleaners who were supposed to perform their duties without respecting the fact that we were in the room and perhaps didn’t want them to clean the room at that time 3. Poor breakfast 4. Very poor bar service; sometimes the patio chairs were there some others they weren’t. Each time we wanted to order something we literally had to chaise the waiter. 5. Overall poor dishes level 6. …and others as such for each yime we had to internally liase

Beautiful but rottening structure and a very uncaring staff; bad experience specially in relation to the price we paid for the top end suite.

Constant electricity blackouts and extremely long delays in power supply… no onsite power generator caused many problems and required us to checkout out early. In fairness, management responded well and refunded part of payment when we checked out early..

Looking at their website and pictures I was actually eager to visit Diggi palace with family but not long after i entered the facility I knew id made the big mistake. In the heart if C scheme and so well located, this heritage property is far from Luxury. Wevchajged 3 rooms over our 3 day stint and I'm still not sure if I ever really got to stay at the palace Suite I booked. Musty rooms, unkempt lawns, the lack of warmth from the staff and the patches of dust in corridors are just the beginning of where this hotel starts to get us thinking on what we had booked. 2 nights with no AC (where the technician had interesting stories to make us believe it was actually cooling) to a broken bed where we were told we don't have additional beds and you could sleep on a mattress on thefloor leave me wondering where was the palace or Suite. Please don't get fooled by their write up and pics. A huge waste of money for what could've been a memorable heritage stay.

I had particularly enquired before booking if local id were welcome as I have a long term local friend. I got written confirmation that we would be very welcome prior to making my booking. Upon check in this was definitely not the case, every excuse was made and I had to produce the written approval to allow check in but was made to feel very unwelcome. A young woman on the reception desk was particularly snooty and unpleasant. Two nights out of four there was loud booming music, so loud that sitting in the restaurant in the evening it was vibrating the windows. I sent a message to the hotel outlining these concerns and have had no reply, this was more than a month ago. Clearly a very large disconnect between hotel management and hotel reception staff. I would recommend the young woman in question, who rudely stated that she understood English, look up the work 'Hospitality'. She clearly has no idea of its meaning.

Breakfast and the location was fine. Restaurant staff and general luggage staff were all very nice.

first room had issues with tap water (water was coming outbrown and boiler was leaking), when we got eventually moved to another room, we experienced issues with electricity on the next day and it took us a number of calls to the reception to get it finally fixed; on the final day reception stuff came to the room at 10:30am while we were packing and told us it is check-out time, even though we did check with them the day before and were told that the check-out time is at 12:00pm which is also the check-out time posted on Booking.com for this hotel; overall, staff was not particularly friendly either

alright location, the hotel overall looks pretty cool, but worn down

Facilities were abysmal, to say the least. In a large premises, intercom is an essential thing. It was not working. Shower mixer was, practically, not working. Swimming pool was under maintenance. Room security was name sake only. ....

The two days we were there they had a loud function blasting till 10 PM every night. Unfortunately, we were ill and had to stay in and the noise levels were just unbearable. The hotel had an informed us of this prior to our arrival and we rev of no help when we complained . In fact, I wrote a letter to the management and no one bothered to even reply

The property is really rundown and not well-maintained. I have stayed at havelis in Jaipur, which are better maintained with better food and staff are more helpful.

The photos of the rooms are not the same as the actual rooms. The hotel manager very kindly upgraded us after one night as there was availability, but beware of booking a standard room. If we had stayed in the first room, which had two old single beds and a shower that did not work, no plugs, it would have ruined our stay. The staff at reception do not really understand so we had to call 4 times to get a hairdryer fixed or replacement. Overall it has great potential, but it is not a luxury experience in any way.

The hotel structure is beautiful but run down compared to the images.

Staff were either incompetent or rude or both. Simple issues went unresolved and turned into major arguments. We were constantly told something would be fixed and then it wasn’t. All guests were forced to pay for a New Year’s Eve dinner regardless of whether they attended. The pool is not open, which is not disclosed until after you book. The owners appear to want to ‘sweat the asset’ which means this place is now a 3 star, rapidly on its way to 2.

The facilities are run down, they rent out their restaurants to loud dance parties for cash, the internet is terrible, the hot water only seemed to work to work at night, the towels are tattered and the service is shabby. Nothing at all like the photos. Avoid this place at all costs.

Had many issues with our stay at Diggi Palace. There was a winter wonderland festival booked which we weren’t told about. The festival was next to our rooms and the live bands continued until 10pm. It was so loud, our windows were throbbing and we couldn't speak in the room. Reception said they would come and check but they didn't. Mr Wilson, the Manager and the Reception agreed it was totally unacceptable. They said the Diggi was known for its peace and we did not get that. In addition, one room had no shower so my daughter and son had to bend under the tap to wash. The toilet tank in my son and my room didn't work for the 4 days we were there. We had to fill the tank ourselves. Only a tiny dribble of cold water in the shower so we had very little water or we would have burnt ourselves. Our laundry was returned to us damp so we couldn't use it for 2 days. I had a tailor deliver some cushions, he wanted to talk to me but reception said I had gone to a party! That's nonsense - I was in my room. In neither room was the tea, coffee and milk replenished for all 4 days. The TV in both rooms were not connected. When we left dirty towels in the floor to be replaced, they were just hung up again and we didn't get clean ones. Mr Wilson and Receptionist spoke to Management and the receptionist said they agreed to a refund but since that date they have not replied to my calls or emails - neither has Booking.com. I feel that this highly regarded hotel was being dishonest with me and just wanted to make me feel better at the time by saying they completely agreed that we should have never experienced all that we went through and they would refund my money but they haven’t go in touch since. It was a Christmas present to my family and it spoilt our Christmas.

The staff were nice and my daughter’s room was pretty.

This hotel is not suitable for travellers like me who wants to explore Jaipur by your own. Uber and taxi are not allowed to come in to the hotel gate. You have to walk to the main street which is about 100m away. Not good if you have luggage. The hotel receptionist was not willing to call normal taxi for me, only offer their own airport service which is too expensive 1600 vs 400. The tuk tuk drivers outside the gate were rather aggressive and totally overpriced. It is prohibited to have other guest visiting you after 22.00. My friend was asked to leave the property by a rude guard. Unbelievable. For a room over 150 eur/ night it was not worth it.

The hotel is nice and quite with big garden. Clean but bit run down. I had the premium room which is very roomy. The bathroom is also huge and clean. Breakfast was good. But almost the same all 4 days.

For a 12.5 K INR (without taxes ) charges per night, we expected a better laid out room, the light fixture above the bed was not working, we had to request a bedding for our 8 year old though the room was booked for 2 adults and 1 child. The room provided was on the 2nd floor with no lift access. The staff at the restaurant were almost always preoccupied with other guests (there seemed to be a large group wedding at the hotel at the time) other than during the breakfast service...so we either ate out or ordered on zomato.

Breakfast was good and the General Manager was quite courteous, helpful regarding all queries and even made breakfast complementary for us(it would have been 500/- INR per person).
