Drifter’s Inn was the perfect mountain escape. The views are absolutely stunning, especially from the rooftop common area where you can relax, enjoy the scenery, or play pool. The atmosphere is super chill and welcoming. Varun, the owner, is an incredible host — friendly, helpful, and always around to make sure guests are comfortable. The staff were also great, always kind and attentive. Felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel.

Had a great stay at Drifters. It’s far enough away from Mall Road so it’s relaxing and has good local character. Our room was clean and huge, had the best shower in India, a fabulous view of the mountains, really helpful staff and great food. Thoroughly recommended!

Everything was up to the mark, the staff was too good, in the aspect of safety stay things were secure, food and coffee was amazing will come back again to stay in Driffters inn at old Manali, So anyone can opt for their budget friendly and good view hostel.

Manali has power issues but it's not a problem here, they have really good power backup and wifi making it perfect for long stays and people who work from anywhere. It's also in the center of old manali and has attached parking. Good cleanliness and good food. I also like the view from the common area overlooking the entire manali.

The location, the views from the room, the room service and the friendliness of staff! Top class and absolutely worth every penny. Varun and team have done a great job creating a haven in the midst of old manali. We spent every morning on the terrace/ common room area playing pool and enjoying the parathas and amazing menu. Highly recommended.

The location , the view, the staff, the cafe - everything is great. Drifter's Cafe vibe and food is amazing and has much more variety than other places in old Manali. There's live music in the evening which also makes it a great spot to hangout and socialise with different people, staff is amazing and always ready to help you out. I got to meet a lot of people and overall i enjoyed my stay. Lastly, the location is perfect- everything is accessible and the rooms have a great view. The best view is from the common area- it's my wallpaper now because that's how pretty the mountains look from there. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who's up for a good time in Manali.

Drifters is such a gem in Manali! The rooms are tidy, the mountain views are incredible, and the vibe is so friendly. I had a blast playing table tennis and pool, and the live music nights were a real highlight. If you’re looking for a place with fun people and plenty to do, this is it!

Finding a sense of belonging while always on the move isn’t easy, but my two months in Manali gave me just that—and so much more. Drifters was more than just a place to stay; it was a community where I met people from around the world and made connections that felt real. The highlights for me were the pool matches, the live music, card games, evening walks and weekend hikes. Not the forget the hygiene is unmatched. Drifters is truly in a league of its own.

Drifters is EPIC! I had a phenomenal room with a surreal view - the view is even better from the rooftop 😍 everything is clean and the location is awesome! The restaurant has lush food and amazing live music :) big love to all the lovely staff! I'll be back :D
