There was no hot water, despite turning on the power switch. I had to boil the kettle for my morning shower.

Close to the airport...A bungalow garden lake view room. Well appointed. All the staff were excellent, professional and helpful.

Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss on consistency with things like tea and sugar. But so minor.

The space of the rooms and the comfiness of the beds. The small nature of the hotel, meant it was a chilled place to be. The hotels restaurant is surprisingly good, certainly in the areas top 3.

Food was quite below par, and the breakfast was boring.

The place is great— the best place to relax. All the staff were good, and Lijo extended great courtesy. The rooms are superb.

Faced hassles pre-arrival—valid card marked invalid, pressured for bank transfer, tariff differences on Booking.com vs. website. Preferred card payment, but insisted otherwise. Kind receptionist finally helped; paid in full as booking kept getting canceled. Booking.com customer service intervened too but they just kept insisting .

The property is beautiful though small, with well-landscaped grounds. The lake view and proximity to beach is a big advantage . The rooms are comfortable, the food is good, and the spa is excellent.

The games room was poorly set up e.g. 1 pool ball. The equipment for the lake activities were old.. The breakfast was average to poor in standard.

The spa facilities could be greatly improved. The staff at the spa were great at what they did. But the Ayurvedic massages when given could benefit from a lot more privacy. Like dimming the lights, mentioning doors are locked and maintaining a quiet atmosphere. The bathrooms need repair work and refurbishing. Food at the resort was sub par . Breakfast buffet had good selection though.

The location is great. The accommodation has a great look and finish. Swimming pool and evening tea was great too . Having a kids park nearby was handy

The restaurant feels very poorly oriented. There is a beautiful beach outside the property but you can’t sit in the restaurant and enjoy the view. The beach deckchairs are also separated from the beach and located on a small football pitch off the side of the restaurant, we had to hop a fence to reach the beach, this area could do with a bit of a facelift. We weren’t allowed to purchase food or drink near the pool which was a shame, we would have done so if we could. The restaurant is dry, this wasn’t an issue but we were surprised.

Peaceful and attractive well maintained grounds with a lovely pool area. Room was clean with a front and back balcony and great views over the backwaters. Lovely toiletries provided in the room. Restaurant wasn’t the most ambient but the food was amazing….colourful, delicious and fresh ingredients. Gentleman on the gate was really friendly and welcoming when we arrived in the middle of the night.

Constant power and the power to our cottage went out at one time. It took an hour or so to get it rectified. Also, the mattresses are too soft and sink to the bottom, which is not good for the body. I had a hard time sleeping on it

The location was great, not too crowded, and We went there as a last resort for our plans to cut short for some reason or other. But the experience there is something else altogether. Every piece of wood used to build that place is well thought out. The lights in that place were glowing at night and were well lit there. The rest of the service was on par. It is an excellent place to unwind, and it’s getting cooler there. The restaurant food was good, but a bit expensive. The chef's curry was seasoned with salt and spices. The breakfast was they had appams and poori and stews it was okay nothing exceptional seen in most restaurants

Was very hot inside the room when we checked in at I pm. The fan's regulator didn't seem to work. We had informed the previous day that we would be there at the time, so it would have been better if the staff had switched on the AC at least one hour before. It was so hot inside the room that we couldn't sleep in the afternoon. The AC in the second room also was performing poorly. The technician came later and rectified it by cleaning the filter. Such routine maintenance works should be done before the guests arrive.

Lack of bar, pool not regularly checked, towels left on loungers all day rubbish not picked up from pool area, bonfire in car park so the air con unit pulled the smoke into our room. Lack of smoke alarms.

As in most of India the rubbish is a problem. The resort itself is immaculate but it could be improved by removing (and disposing of in a responsible manner) the rubbish on the beach, particularly the private section, around the lake and to the field between the resort and the lake. This would mean the views are as picturesque as the resort itself.

Great location, the staff were excellent. We loved the food - we ordered room service most nights and the cost was very reasonable. We had a massage at the Spa which was great. The pool is also great. We particularly loved our room and the bed was really comfortable.

Food at the attached restaurant could’ve been better- one will expect fresh fish to be served at such cosy restaurants. The game room is a bit congested- at least double the existing space may be ideal

Great location. Excellent ambiance. Well maintained facilities. Enjoyed the kayaking, pedal boat and cycles.
