Well, it's really just a bed at a regular hostel. The only reason I decided to pay the same (or more) I would pay for a private room somewhere else was because I thought it being a retreat centre there would be activities happening. The activities they have are paid at the same price as if you are an outsider joining, so really no benefit (and no activities on Sunday). It seems they have kirtans 2 days a week, but if you are not there on those days, it really is just an overpriced hostel. It was also the first place in my 3 years of travelling where I was not allowed to hand wash my clothes (which meant another extra expense). Finally, the bathrooms do need some love.

The lobby was really welcoming and nicely decorated. The location is great, not too far from the beach and close to restaurants and supermarkets. The beds have curtains for privacy, which is great.

The bedrooms need painting. Keep toilet paper in bathrooms restocked.

My fave thing about this place are the two Rottweilers! One who is cuddly and the other who loves to play. Really nice chill out spots here, including the balcony, downstairs and outside. Lovely, friendly staff.

This is more kind of a note for improvement, considering I know it gets humid in Goa for a long time, so I understand the situation… I think machines for regulating humidity in the room is necessary, considering that the humidity of the room is causing mold in the room (because it’s dangerous for health)

Wifi was really good and stable in the room (we booked the double room downstairs) For people that work - would totally recommend. The common area was nice and clean. They have two cute Rottweilers. They helped us with booking the taxi over the app, cause we had payment issue.

I found a home and family at Tantraloka and stayed much longer than initially planned. I met the most amazing people there,Tensing and Govita are the kindest souls I’ve stumbled across in Arambol. super beautiful yoga shala where I could do my practice every morning, rooms are clean and quiet, without any party around or barking dogs, roosters or cars waking me up in the morning.

Stayed for two nights at Tantralok in Arambol. Hosts are welcoming and friendly. The surrounding area is also quiet and there are shops and restaurants in walking distance. The dorms were good too.

Very good facility. Some additional arrangements for food especially in the afternoon would have been better. But no issues, there were some hotels nearby. I liked the overall facility and it was worth the price.

interaction with guests should be improved. we arrived on a hot day with heavy backpacks and felt not really welcomed. no „how are you?“, no „where are you from?“, no „do you want to drink something?“, no „please drop your backs in your room, settle in and after come back for the check in Procedere“. instead it was like: here, fill in your details and give me your money. after we paid they gave us the keys to our room and that was it. nobody showed us around the property, nothing. they were not able to help us renting a motor bike nor were they helpful with booking train/bus tickets. though they pretend to be a yoga-peace-and-happiness-meditation-centre the vibes were cold and unpleasant. one day my wife got sick. after she left the room for the first time after two days nobody asked her how she‘s feeling. I mean, if you don’t care about the well-being of your guests you probably shouldn’t work in hospitality. this place is the evidence that meditation and yoga on a daily base don’t turn you automatically into a good person with an open heart.

good location, clean room, comfortable bed and warm shower. location is also not too bad as it‘s in a relatively calm area with walking distance to the beach and some nice restaurants.

It's a beautiful property with clean and comfy beds, a stay here will definitely recharge your batteries. Big shoutout to Ayush & Sonam for making my stay memorable. I highly recommend the yoga & meditation classes, especially the ones guided by Sonam :)

A big shoutout for the hostel owner who was very hospitable and welcoming. The place has so many activties and classes yoga, medidation, drum circles etc I stayed for 4 days in the doorms and love every bit of it
