How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

-Power cut in the middle of the night for 2.5 hours in a very warm and humid condition and with no ventilation in the room. The hotel must have a plan B and a generator backup at least running the fan/ventilators, if not the AC. -Food was below average, they said pancakes however served Crêpe, also the Indian paratha was cold and not tasty. Omelette was ok. -People with knee problems may avoid, have lots of steep stairs, even inside the room going to the WC/Toilet. Was not a problem for us.

No option to cancel or amend on booking.com. Says you will lose your money. We needed to amend so lost money, even though on the day they told us that we should have rung them. Which we did.
Walking distance to the Taj Mahal. The roof top has a great vibe to go with the view. Friendly staff

The dorm rooms are on the older end of things, basic as is expected with the price. Could do with a bit more thorough cleaning. AC was a bit temperamental.
Quite simply this hostel is for visiting and enjoying the Taj Mahal. It’s proximity to the site is fabulous, enabling an easy early morning entry to beat the crowds. It’s roof top terrace view is spectacular and is a nice place to unwind and/or socialise. Rajiv was very kind to us.

The AC is not working properly. If you are travelling in summer, get ready to be roasted here. The bunk beds in dorm are not comfortable enough.
It's comparatively cleaner and placed in a nice location.

No hot water in the bathroom, the boiler wasn't working. Everything is a little old inside the room and the rooftop is on a parallel building.
The position Is awesome, you can reach East Gate of Taj Mahal in two minutes. The guys are friendly and the rooftop terrace in a great thing to make the breakfast or relax in the evening. Room was big and of course with air conditioning.

No real common area apart from the terrace, but who cares, given how good the terrace is?
Positioned perfectly to visit the Taj. Simple, clean room with all essentials, clean and a young and energetic staff. Terrace view really is like the picture. Unbeatable quality price ratio

Our room is very close to the rooftop cafe so its very noisy, we didn’t expect it.
Hostel is very close the Taj Mahal just walking distance. Value for the price. However water and electricity got off few times during our 1 night stay..

The staff were friendly and the room was clean, with kettle and bottles of water for us to use. It had AC and it was very clean. Almost at the door of the Taj Mahal, perfect location. Would recommend and stay again if we visit Agra in the future.

One of the rooms smelt of urine which may have just been the plumbing. It also didn’t have a window which may have been an issue for some people but we didn’t mind as it was just a place to sleep.
This was the perfect place to stay in Agra, only a few minutes walk away from the Taj Mahal. The staff were very helpful and the vibe in the hostel was really nice. Rooms were basic but comfortable and good value for money. Food in the cafe was good and the view was to die for!

The room is basic for the price you pay, but it's completely fine. The pillows were paper thin - should have asked for another one!
The location is amazing - not just to the Taj but for eateries. There are always rickshaws outside which is great because they can take you to Agra Fort etc and importantly they know where to take you back to which is handy. The rooftop terrace with a view to the Taj is amazing. We got a walking tour in the evening too.

Air conditioner was leaking some water in the room and the bathroom in the living room was missing the washbasin because they were doing maintenance so it was a bit inconvenient, but nothing to complain that much

The AC was too weak - the room didn't fully cool down. The rooftop restaurant is expensive. The receptionist was a bit rude.
Best location in Agra. Probably the best place you can stay at in Agra if you want to visit the Taj Mahal (only few minutes walking). Nice rooftop with Taj view. Modern room with clean and pretty washroom. Hot water 24/7 (and also cold water to cool off from the heat outside)

It is an hostel so honestly it is perfect as it is ! Only things that could be improved a bit would be the food in my opinion.
For the price the room for two was amazing, clean and so close from the Taj Mahal.

While the room had a fan to improve air circulation, it still felt a bit cramped. Perhaps better ventilation would enhance the overall experience.
The hotel’s strategic location stood out to me. Being close to restaurants, the Taj Mahal, and the Fort makes it convenient for guests. Additionally, the presence of policemen adds a sense of security.

The AC in the room was a bit weak, during the night it can be really hot. And no windows in the room.
The view from the Cafe. Totally worth it. But during the day it's too hot to chill on the rooftop. Kind people working there.
