United KingdomThere was very loud noise on the street, especially during to day if one tried to nap - but this is to be expected given the location. Also, the noises were also generally caused by fun activities one could participate in, wedding processions etc... One annoying point was that the hotel cancelled our reservation, even though we twice confirmed it. This didn't present a problem for us, as they just gave us the same room at the same price, but perhaps if we had gotten to the hotel later in the day (we got there around 2 pm) the room may have been given away. So this is potentially a big problem.

IndiaRoads leading to the property are very narrow. So after a point you cannot expect auto to drop you to the hotel. There is some amount of walking required. In case you are carrying more luggage, then it becomes difficult. You can call up the hotel. Staff would assist you to carry them. However, roads are not very clean, so the trolley bags would become dirty !!
Hotel is right opposite to Chowki Ghaat. You could take a stroll in the early morning or late evenings to the Ghaats.

United KingdomThe dirty sheets was left on the bed and was remade with the same douvet cover from the previous customer. I had to ask many times for it to be changed before they did. I prepaid for the room as to not be delayed for my flight, but was still delayed the next morning by 30mins. Thankfully I just caught my flight.

IndiaDue to where the hotel is situated there is no cab or auto that can reach there so if you have large luggage, its best to pack a backpack because dragging a trolley through the stone lanes will be a challenge. Or alternatively you could call the hotel up for an exact location for the drop and they would come down to pick you up.
The location of the hotel is absolutely top notch if you are looking to stay near the ghats. The ghat was right in front of the hotel. The staff were very nice and kind and went out of their way to accommodate me and my mother. All our requests were taken care of within their ability to address it. As women we both felt it was a very safe space.

Laundry service was very late to return our clothes and they were stained on return. Taxi to the airport booked by the hotel was also late on our departure.

South AfricaBathroom. Sink is too small. Shower pressure is very low and is situated to the side of the toilet seat with no divisions. The room has no ventilation. Lots of noise from the renovations in the rest of the hotel. I'm sure it will be fine after the renovations are done. They did not say anything when I booked. I only discovered this after checking in and paying for my room. Best to check before booking if renovations are done. They do not take cards. Only Indian Rupees in CASH.
The location was fantastic. However without a guide or someone to assist you, it's impossible to find as it is located on the steps of the Ghat. Access to it is through the gullies. Best to ask the hotel to send someone to meet you on the main road. The hotel is brand new with modern finishes.
