Lovely homestay just back from the beach with two double rooms that look out to a picturesque garden. Really friendly welcoming family who prepare very tasty home-cooked fare. Thoroughly recommend!

This place will acomodate for all your needs and above. We went to stay for 10 nights, in this time we have found Family in India- we were taken onto their beautiful home and felt a part of it. Accomodation is luxurious with AC , modern shower , porch to sit on in the evenings or while having homemade breakfast in the morning. The best part was outdors - large open spaces feature pond which attracts lots of birds - imagine having coffee and watching Blue kingfisher or Indian Brown Eagle. Dayily chat with familly was brilliant talking about handmade furniture that they invest to be made for them from tree to the chair or bench or explaining to us future plans or what it takes to offer service as they do and they are excelent at it. Property is a short walk from the beach, hosts connections are also very handy, from cousin running the shop or another one running restaurant to a mate who has massaging busines ( very good too) anywhere we went people knew our hosts snd spoke very warmly about them, now we know why - they are the purest, happiest people we came across offering the best experience you can imagine.

We had a truly wonderful time during our stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean.The shower was powerful with lots of hot water, the best we've had in India. The garden is well kept and beautiful, it's also full of singing birds. We ate at the property in the evening, and the food was fantastic. Prepared by Emil's lovely parents. You can also get a KF with dinner! Emil is the son and a wonderful host, he really does look after anything you need (He sorted our train tickets for our onwards journey). We would go back in a flash this place is great on every level. Thanks again EMIL.

The room was exceptionally clean, and the hosts, Ebin Charles and his parents, were incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. The location is perfect, just a short walk to Marari Beach and conveniently near the bus stop. Their hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

Emil and his parents are very friendly and attentive hosts. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed our time in their beautiful gardens. The bed is comfortable, the aircon works well and the views from the large windows are beautiful. The breakfast was very good and changed each day. You can see many different types of birds in their garden. In the evenings we enjoyed eating at Emil’s cousin’s restaurant right on the beach. They were very friendly and the food was very good. Marari Beach is tranquil and clean. Great for long morning or evening beach walks. If you are looking to relax surrounded by nature we highly recommend this place. Thank you Emily & family for your kind hospitality. Hopefully we can come back again sometime.

The location is not on a busy place. If someone needs to enjoy the hustle bustle of a tourist place then this is not the place.

The hospitality of Ebin and his family was heart warming. Property is located very close to the beach. However there are few options to eat nearby. Online food orders work fine. Ebin was at our help for the whole duration of the stay. Also they served home cooked delicious breakfast.

Low-budget guesthouse running by lovely family that will find yourself more in sync with local people, their life and culture. This accommodation is a perfect option for diving into the unique cultural milieu. Ideal for singles and couples seeking a distinctive and authentic travel experience. Very close to beach, main road with local stores. Delicious breakfasts and optional dinners with fresh seafood and curry fish. Highly recommended.

There was nothing significant that I didn’t like about the property. It was a pleasant experience overall.

The property has a very homely atmosphere and is run by a welcoming and friendly family. The location is excellent, being just a short walking distance from the beach, which adds to the overall charm of the stay. The hosts are very attentive and made the stay even more enjoyable with their warm hospitality.

Great location - only 5 min walk from the beach. The property has a really peaceful garden area and the host and his family were brilliant. They were very accommodating and were always on hand if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again!

Genuinely we can't think of anything that would have made it better

We had an amazing stay here. The location was perfect - away from all the hustle and bustle, but close to the beach and some fabulous restaurants. It was about 30mins from Alleppey but we found it easy to get the local bus, but would also have been easy with a tuktuk. We were looked after, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to sit on the veranda facing the garden and watch the Birdlife. Great communication too. The room was spacious and the air-conditioning was a welcome addition.

A lovely location very close to a clean beach away from the hustle, bustle, and crowd of the main Marari beach. Emil and his parents are wonderful hosts with kind hearts who were always around to ensure that we are having the best time. The rooms are very clean, and they have set indoor games that my nephews really enjoyed.

There was nothing to not like about Emil’s place. I had a perfect vacation here.

Very good proximity to beach. Lots of open space. Beautiful landscaping. Clean and comfortable rooms. Most importantly a wonderful hosts. Emil and his family are gem of people. Very responsive to all of our requests, we travelled with 1 year old kids and they made sure all our needs were fulfilled. Marari beach is beautiful, I’d strongly recommend anyone to spend quality time with family and friends at Ebin Charlys home stay, I am certain you’ll have a lot of fun and relaxation. A simply...fantastic place where to be. The spacious, comfortable room, in perfect condition, with large windows overlooking a splendid garden. Ebin's treatment was phenomenal all five days of stay. Marari Beach 200 meters away, this being a beautiful, quiet and friendly area of ​​the beach. If you come to spend a few days, I'm sure you'll leave with a smile of well-being.

Everything was good!

A wonderful tranquil place near the beach. The rooms are in a garden, that has such a nice and peaceful vibe with birds singing in the morning. The owners are so kind, helpful and easy going. The rooms are comfortable, space with airco and a fan. The porch in front of the room also has a fan!

Only have good things to say about Ebin Charlys Homestay! The room is clean and hygenic with both AC and a fan. The garden gives the house almost a jungely feeling and a good breakfast is included in the price. The house is just a couple minutes walk from the nice beach Marari, where we stayed most of the time. The family who run it takes very good care of you, helping with whatever the issue! Definitely recommend!

I highly recommend this property! From hibiscus to lotus to wild orchids, it had everything. Rooms were clean with good bathroom. It was a great place to stay, with a beautiful garden and a very accommodating host. The WiFi was fast and reliable, and the host even accommodated a request for home made dinner which was outstandingly delicious. Breakfast was simply superb everyday. Marari Beach was less than 5 min walk from the property. There was ayurvedic massage nearby and the host arranged for outgoing transport as well. I would give this property 5 stars.

We loved this peaceful paradise and the wonderful genuine family that are so kind and friendly. We enjoyed wonderful home cooking by Emil’s mum and all our meals were all just delicious. Emil kindly bought us some beers so as there is little to do in this haven of peace, we could sit outside and play cards while admiring the beautifully kept garden with it’s Lily pond. The place is minutes from the beach. The room was impeccable and had a great solar shower. Emil is such a sweet guy who is putting his heart into the place . It was a pleasure to stay there.

We really felt like at home with Charlys family. The breakfast was amazing,the lady cooks absolutely stunning. Rooms are spacious, very clean. Bed are comfortable, bathroom modern and very clean and smells very nice. The garden is so calm, with lots of birds and at night you can even hear the waves in the background. The beach is only 3min walking, secluded, clean. They were always there for us when we needed taxi or tuktuk or any information. Even the ride to the airport! The place is easy to reach from Kochi or Allepey. Bus and train station are very close by. We will definitely stay here against when we come back! Thanks so much for everything :))

all is perfect

Marari Ebin Charlis is a paradise place to relax. Clean well-furnished room with AC and fan, bathroom with shower and hot water. A terrace with a wonderful view of the magical garden, where very tasty breakfasts, lunches and dinners were kindly served. Kerala home cooking is nourishing, healthy and surprises with delicious tastes. all my wishes were taken into account. the cost of dishes is low for such a high-quality cuisine! I was traveling alone, but I didn't feel lonely in this lovely place. Emil did his best for my comfortable and eventful rest. I am very glad that I chose this homestay. And of course I am infinitely grateful to the hospitable hosts for my wonderful vacation))) Emil and his family made my vacation truly unforgettable. I dream of coming back again.
