The WiFi was hit and miss.

Martins Crest is slightly out of the main tourist area of Patnem so made for a perfect slice of calm! They have bicycles you can borrow for a very reasonable price and it’s only a 10 minute cycle to Patnem- we did it every day. They are also next to some great restaurants (Singhs!!) so you can walk 2 mins from the hotel for food. They have a rooftop area which is great for a morning coffee and to watch the birds and sunrise/ sunset in the evening. Richie at the hotel was a dream and could not be more helpful! We arrived a day early after a change in our plans and he helped accommodate us even though the hotel was technically ’full’. They are also a very short walk to a beautiful beach so if you don’t want to cycle to Patnem you don’t have too!

One of the room in the rooftop was mentioned as premium & it was mentioned there was king size bed. But we found the room to be same as other rooms. Also this room was not so neat when compared to other rooms. But we were charged higher price. Buffet breakfast charge was bit high (300 per person including same price for kids) There was a beach very nearby. But the staff did not provide details. We found it on the last day when leaving the place

Nothing is there to unlike. They provide everything whatever we needed.

Room was clean and properly maintained. Every amenities was there. Very good service. Nice view from the rooftop. Staff and owner behaviour was really good, appreciate it. Everything was perfectly working. Must recommend. Very peaceful area, beach was near. Had a great experience.

The restaurant at the property was not open because it's operational seasonally. We were not aware of this. But the staff did offer a food delivery option which we appreciate.

No complaints on the property. Comfortable setup for a family. Clean and a well organised apartment. Parking was available.

Richie was charming, polite and very helpful throughout our stay. The view from our room was a great bonus.

The only issue is the wifi as I have planned to work remotely from hotel. It’s not so stable most of the time I used my mobile data for work. It would be great if Wifi is stable and available all the time.

The property is well located in south goa, most of the beaches are just 1 to 3 kms away. Room is pretty clean and have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The receptionist is very friendly and always available if anything needed. The food at the restaurant on top of the hotel is very tasty and of good quality. Both blakrishna and chef ramesh takes care of the customer very well at the restaurant.

The manager at first was not attentive or respectful. We wanted to change our dates and initially was very reluctant to help. Eventually he assisted us. Prior to our booking change he spoke to us through an assistant. Following our booking change he became attentive and helpful. During the peak season I would suggest hiring an assistant or extra chef.

The location was good for us as we wanted a quiet area. There was a restaurant which was open till 10pm which helped as we arrived late. The 2 young gentleman at the desk were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The restaurant host and chef were extremely attentive and accommodating.

What really bugged me was on arrival was told that my booking was cancelled even THOUGH I PAID AN ADVANCE??????? The hotel was nearly empty but we were made to wait for sometime(Though we arrived way after the time we said we would) they were behaving as if they were doing us a favour of arranging another room???????? The lift was not working so we had to walk up 5 floors for breakfast. i am 70+ and my wife a senior citizen. Breakfast is not what it should be absolute no choice and very limited options.

The room was decent. The Hotel is located in a quiet place. It had all the necessary facilities including fridge and a kettle. The size was adequate.

Towel and linen provided were not very clean. The staff hesitated to provide extra towels. Breakfast was average , quality of food was not great. Parking was bit of a hassle. Hair dryer not provided Bed and mattress was uncomfortable.

However we did spend more time in patnem and palolem as they had shops/restaurants so the location was not quite so good for this.

Richie as his family/staff were very welcoming and friendly. We loved the pool, the view from the terrace, and our comfortable, clean room. The little village was quiet and we could walk to patnem from there or a closer quieter beach. The Wi-Fi was spotty at times in our room but we could get it in the communal areas, they came to try and fix the issue, and they offered to change our room for better signal which was nice. They even invited us to join in their birthday meal of local goan cuisine!

Loved the location and hospitality of the staff. The rooms were clean too. The staff was polite and hospitable. It's a beautiful location and everything is accessible from the hotel.

My room was a little dusty above the eyeline. You'll probably need a motorbike or take taxis/rickshaws to get to nearby Patnem and Palolem. Also note: they don't take credit card (cash only).

The staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. I had an eye infection and they even drove me to the local clinic to see a doctor. The pool is lovely for a dip, well maintained and clean. My room was a good size with a fridge and kettle. The AC was also great. There's a local place called Sam's that's good for a dosa for breakfast.
