Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Sri LankaThe water heater in the bathroom was not working. The shower was malfunctioning and the water was splashing everywhere. That's it. I hope they will fix it soon!
The location is very good (Away from the busy city). There are many shops, restaurants, and public parks around the property. The staff were very nice and helpful. Safe surrounding even for a female solo traveller. The room was nice and comfy. Had my own balcony. Wi-Fi was pretty good too. + Good breakfast

IndiaAs an uber user, the cabs don't go all the way to the hotel so it requires some walking after you get down. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind if you're traveling heavy!
The staff were friendly, well spoken and the room had all the facilities for a lovely stay. The market and Deer Park are close by.

United KingdomOne initial thing was how the photos on booking look very different to the place. Best to lowere expectations for a more pleasant stay. I left a personal item behind, a Walter filter bottle in my room. I tried to contact the accommodation very shortly after I left, messaging, emailing and calling but no response. This is disappointing as communication with the staff at the hotel during stay was good. This is a big turn off for the experience of staying there. Remember not yo leave anything behind !
It's a good location in Hauz Khas but at least 30 minute walk to metro, there are taxis, uber, that will take you to the door but rickshaw won't, but it's a short wall from the rickshaw drop of point so no problem. There is a nice little cafe where breakfast and dinner is served. If you have a pre pay meal plan only veg, or non - veg tali is available. It taste good and okay for a couple of nights, could get boring for a longer stay. But it's a pleasant environment.

United StatesThe staff were overly pedantic, not just 1 person, but several. Its a small hotel and felt "grilled" every time I walked in lobby, being expected to report room number. Made me feel unwelcome and always under suspicion.

Japanese capsules are a little run down from my last stay, but I love the concept still. AC available. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast.

United KingdomUnable to take any tea into the pod rooms, Rules were that everyone should be quiet by 10pm, but in the cubicle next to mine someone was talking with someone in their cubicle up until 1am. So this wasn't really checked or enforced. Bedding smelt and felt damp to me.

IndiaThe staff is super slow. The location is the biggest disadvantage. We were a group of girls staying there and the walk up to the hotel made us very uncomfortable. Also, the bathroom could be better maintained.
The room had comfortable furniture, quite spacious.

AustraliaAdvertised photos are way out of date… This establishment is very Minimal as the name suggests and l know one thing and that is you will get MINIMAL SLEEP. THIS PLACE BY FAR HAS BEEN THE MOST INTERUPTIVE, LOUD and unpleasant sleeping experience anywhere I’ve been in the WORLD to date. You get MAXIMUM points for that MINIMALIST and you have the most expensive nightly rate? No in room information on surrounding areas, cafes, restaurants, bars,Transport or even the HAUZ KHAS lake and Fort which is right there and their selling point. Mould on bathroom ceiling everywhere Grime on shower floor Sewage smell coming from drainage pipes Aircon filters filthy dirty Bathroom fans are filled with dust and disgusting Noisy bathroom fans Wall shelf under mirror behind sofa pulling away from wall Tables and chairs all uneven on tiled floor so very noisy to move around and specially on next floor above. 1 little shampoo and body wash and no extra was given throughout my stay=Minimal Tiny fridge so you can’t buy a lot of food all at once. Don’t expect to much from the breakfast that’s included as it’s very basic and on my first morning there was no milk, no coffee ready to go just empty jugs of nothing. I had to get them to make a fresh brew. Their coffee on the menu that you buy is expensive and ordinary. The young men operating this breakfast seem vague at times and it maybe hard to know who is on duty and who works there as there can be 6 of them all at once. On the 2nd morning the fridge compressor beside the coffee counter was rattling the whole time🙈 in the cafe, so it was hard to concentrate and get work done. The afternoon of my 1st day l returned and l just so happened to see a tradesman. That tradesman had come to fix my entry door as it was scaling along floor, tho they didn’t ask me if it was convenient to fix instead told me. I just wonder what would have happened if l didn’t arrive. Would they have just let themselves in???
Receptionist Vaishali was always fantastic, helpful, happy and so nice to talk to along with the kind gentleman that always brought me water. Large room and spacious. Comfortable bed, pillows & sofa. Heaps of power points which is very handy for charging multiple appliances. Simple but workable kitchen tho very minimal in the way of pots, pans. Balcony had a big tree adjacent to it with squirrels and Peahens 🦚

United KingdomHot water was limited and when we arrived the hot water hadn’t been turned on or shown to us where to turn on so the first day, we didn’t have hot water then realised the small tank is in the bathroom and also the switch. It was cold at night and the heater provided didn’t really do anything apart from light the room up. The WiFi was really limited. We stayed for four nights and didn’t have anyone come in to clean the room or replace water, tea etc during our stay. Do I think it was worth £360 for four nights, no I don’t.
The property is clean and modern I like the boho decor, the hotel is just outside of the busy lanes so nicely located away from all the noise but only a few minutes walk to the lanes, deer park and entrance to the village where you can get a tuk tuk. Room service was good, lots of choice, reasonably priced, breakfast was just over the road at ‘Let’s Bunk’ where they served fruit, bread for toast, sandwiches, cereal, a few Indian options and hot drinks.
