wish they had more properties, polution in India sucks

After a series of overpriced supposedly luxury hotels in India this was the first one that really got it right that wasn't crazy expensive. Place was wonderfully clean, luxuriously decorated (!), room was great, shower was at least very good, beds were very clean, towels good, bathroom spacious, breakfast and restaurant was excellent, second best of the whole trip of ~10 hotels, nice pool and rooftop, awesome courtyard. MRG group seems to "get it" compared to a whole series of properties that just don't seem to understand what they are getting wrong. I mean, they had a guy dusting the lamp shades one by one with a cloth! Stay here!

The swimming pool was very cold and not really usable. Checkout took 15mins as there was confusion about which room we were in! Staff need to talk more and not hide behind their pride!!

No welcome drink although we arrived late afternoon.

Lovely hotel with a lot of character and areas to sit, look at the surroundings and well lit up at night. Lovely front area and rooftop pool as well. Overall a good experience with a lovely breakfast and courteous staff. Checking in experience was not great and no welcome drink.

If something to be improved: 1. beds were too soft for our backs and 2. getting a drink around the pool is a bit tricky and not very easy....

Waooohhh!!! One of the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 week tour of Rajasthan. Beautiful! Lots of character, great gym, nice rooftop pool overlooking the city, beautiful garden and excellent restaurant (we ended up eating twice in the evening). Currently only a 4* hotel but it could get a 5* rating easily. Excellent value for money

Pigeons around the swimming pool are not so clean.

It’s the most beautiful hotel we had in India! Best value for money. Service and staff are wonderful. Beautiful rooftop with a big swimming pool. Spa and massage are so nice. The breakfast is incredible, lot of thing and the food are so delicious. Kumal was so nice and find a lot of gluten free option for me ! It’s the best service We have never had even in France. Billiard is nice too. Quiet place.

The whole process of paying and booking the hotel has been very complicated. I have been asked to pay in advance by mail and it has been very difficult because I was getting different replies from different workers. The replies to my questions always arrived after many days but I was given a deadline to pay otherwise I would have lost my booking. I have finally managed to pay in advance but funny thing the receptionists at the check out suggested that I should have payed at the hotel rather then trying to do it in advance. I explained that they forced me to pay beforehand…. And obviously the check out took at least 30 minutes because they wanted me to pay again since they did not know (and could not find) my pre-payment. I could avoid the double payment o my because I have been smart enough to ask them by mail to confirm that the payment was received. If it wasn’t for all of this, I would have given 10/10. The rest of the staff has been amazing, especially Kawsar, who served us during meal time always with a big smile.

Breakfast is very good and comparable to any 5 star hotel in a metropolitan city. Rooms are amongst the best in Bikaner. The ambience at night for the restaurant is very good & relaxing. I like their food!

We were a bit disappointed that when we asked about the possibility to spice down Indian dishes, we were told that for many of them it wasn’t possible. So our choice for dinner was quite limited.

The building is amazing with a stunning internal courtyard. The swimming pool area is also pleasant given the heat hitting this city. The restaurant is excellent with a wide variety of choices for the breakfast. Last but not least, the service and attention to guests is outstanding. Really worth of a 5 stars hotel
