How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Firstly it wasn't neev guest house, it's Kiara Oyo which we got to know after reaching there. They claim free breakfast the place that they serve is horrible and the lady sees u top to bottom when ask for food top up, they serve only aloo Paratha n tea daily. Thanks to Zomato

Everything! this hotel is located beside the bank of the sea surrounded by coconut trees and beautiful hames, It has an amazing morning view from the terrace. This hotel provides nice ac rooms, not luxury but good, water supply twenty four hour covered with security surveillance, two wheeler parking area, they also provide tasty breakfast Aalu ka Paratha with pickle which is included in fare and their staff having a good behaviour, thank you for all the things.

Our experience at Neev Beach View Goa was nothing short of a nightmare. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the deafening noise emanating from beach parties, which persisted throughout the night, rendering sleep impossible. Despite this, the staff itself was very helpful and friendly. In light of this unbearable situation, we approached the management seeking a resolution. After extensive discussions, it was agreed that we would pay for the night we endured and receive a refund for the remainder of our stay. To facilitate this, we diligently followed the instructions provided by the staff and manager, including adjusting our booking dates on Booking.com as per their guidance. However, despite assurances and numerous follow-up calls, our refund never materialized. Even after two months of persistent efforts to resolve the issue, we have yet to receive the promised reimbursement. This blatant disregard for our agreement and failure to uphold their commitment has left us deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with the establishment. In conclusion, our stay at Neev Beach View Goa was marred by incessant noise, unfulfilled promises, and a complete lack of accountability on the part of the management. We urge potential guests to exercise caution before considering this establishment for their accommodation needs.

The tap in the shower broke off immediately with a very light touch. I was then forced to pay about €20 compensation in cash immediately.
For €10 per night I can't complain at all, everything was actually there that was promised and I didn't expect anything more. Would do it again.

Location difficult to find. Not added in Google maps. Rooms are named with beach view. But only a small view of the beach from the common terrace. And the terrace is not clean or well maintained.

Payed for a delux AC roome. The gave me a small "roome" with FAN no ac, and the wals where covered with black mold. I arsk for the roome i ordered, the tod me my room where now more than double prise. If i paied price times 2.5 i wood get my roome alse i can pay fu price and get there mold infekted chamber. Froad Froad FRoad.

How filthy the place was. The toilet leaked several buckets of water when you flushed it, hot water didn't work, sheets and blankets were soiled, didn't come with toilet paper or towels originally and took ages to find management and aquire them.

It’s soo dirty. It stinks. The facilities are old and dirty. The charged 400 extra because we arrived to early. One night is even too long! Its NOT like on the pics. Absolutely not!! Every positive feedback must be fake! I wouldn’t even try the breakfast because the dinighall on the rooftop was so dirty and full with old and broken furniture. It was disgusting!

Location is not easy to find on map. Only alu paratha and chai available for breakfast. Taste is not that good. Parking is not available.

Everything was good.
We had stayed in family room with a sea view which was worth the money. It is reasonal money wise and it was overall good experience. Also, it is very near to the beach, not even 5 mins walking.
