There was no Sign board as Palolem beach view inn so was little difficult to hunt the area in the initial

The property need some TLC We wanted 2 nights overlooking the beach and our room had that view, so the fact that the room is shabby can be overlooked as the large bed is very comfortable and clean and that view is 100%

It took an hour or more to find the inn. There were no hotel signs anywhere on the building and non of the locals knew where it was, even though it was on the beach front,

We arrived late, in the room there was no towels, one pillow case was missing and the night guard could not help to get these. The yard was messy and not cozy at all. This is a shame because the room itself was very nice. Restaurant did not have cozy atmosphere.

No hot water. Had to ask for clean towels etc. Had to move room! Loud music.

These bungalows are great value for money either overlooking the beach or 30 seconds walk. They are a reasonable size and have comfortable beds. As often happens in Asia, there isn't much storage for clothes or shelves. We had a wardrobe with no rail in it! There was also no mirror. It was very messy around our room but was cleaned up when I complained! We stayed for 7 nights and after 5 were told we had to move rooms which isn't really acceptable even if its to a room with a sea view. There are bars either side of the property that play loud music until midnight so remember your earplugs!

For a beach hut it’s comfortable but the bathroom can be better in terms of amenities, fixtures and lights. And please add a wardrobe in the room.

The location is spot on. We got uninterrupted views of the ocean and also got lucky with clear night skies. Ocean waves and stars - there literally isn’t enough I could say about the location

I didn’t mind it, but it is a bare bones experience. There will be bugs and lots of sand and no hot water. That comes with the territory. Just I thought I would add for those thinking they’re getting a “posh” experience. This is real south India living.

Souresh was an amazing property owner and helped us with anything we needed, the property was right on the beach and just the perfect get away.

Few pointers, bathroom needs a plug to drain water and sand. Droppings need to be cleaned. The place has dogs, ducks and a chicken which is really nice. But as I say, they really need to pick up the mess that animals leave. I also think it'd be a great idea if all hotels and bars pick up the litter in front of each of their places. Many hands would make light work. We also found a couple of cockroaches in the room. I'm not sure if this is just beach life or if they need to sort it out. Didn't eat here, so I can't comment on food, we went out of season, so the atmosphere here was double quiet. We never had Internet although it said it came with free Internet, didn't really get an apology or money off.

On Booking.com, this place is called Beach View Inn. When you get there its Dylans bar and restaurant but the signs have been taken down. I think it may be because of the bad reviews or they are just changing name. This place had pros and cons, but on the whole, it was alright. No thrills or spills. The soap dispenses were topped up in the bathroom. On arrival they gave towels and toilet paper. Great ducks and chickens roaming around. Great view. Reasonable price for what is quite a cool shack on the beach front with AC.

We paid to stay Wednesday to Friday, we did mention that we might go Thursday evening as dad was unwell, the staff asked 5 times are we checking out this was at 12pm on Thursday. Felt like they wanted the room back to resell. Explained we paid till Friday so we won’t be checking out until leaving.
