Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Polandno windows, but it is common in India. The breakfast have mainly Indian cuisine, so if you are from western Europe, it would be not too appealing. The location is a little bit far from the fort and other attractions.
The room is very spacious and perfectly clean. The bed really comfortable and there is a lot of space also in the bathroom. Wi fi is working well as air condition. Inside modern forniture and a desk when you can also work and a sofa space with a coffee table that it is a nice plus. Also free water. The staff is welcoming and helpful.

United KingdomThe bad: Communication was poor throughout. I made the booking on booking.com and then sent a follow up message via the site to confirm it was OK (after some bad experiences at other Indian hotels). No reply received to the message, so I sent an email, no reply received to that either, so decided to call and eventually got the confirmation I required. Should not have been that difficult. On arrival at the hotel I asked if it was possible to change from the 3 nights booked to just 2. No problem, the receptionist said. Just to formalise this I made the same request via booking.com (not expecting them to read it anyway) once I got to my room. However on checkout I was informed that as I'd made the change request on booking.com after checkin I'd have to pay for the full three nights. After some complaining that was changed to paying just the booking.com commission for the third night (but that was initially miscalculated and only later reduced when I challenged that also). I still don't see why I should pay anything for their failure to follow simple business processes. During the discussion over how much (unnecessary extra) I was going to have to pay, it was implied that it was my fault for only informing the receptionist and not the manager of my change of plan. I was also threatened with being billed for the full three nights after I suggested I might mention this issue on my review. Both highly unprofessional behaviour by (who I assume to be) the manager. Also has to pay for breakfast despite the hotel brochure saying it was included. I wouldn't say don't go there (as very little choice in Chittorgarh) but be on your guard for any areas of potential confusion (genuine or not).
The Good. Big comfortable spotlessly clean room, with a great shower. I'd rate it between a Travelodge and Premier Inn in the UK. Also, a decent, reasonably priced restaurant on the top floor, which also serves breakfast.

IndiaBreakfast was the only thing to be improved, more options & facilities like a toaster to toast bread & some considerations for foreigners who cannot eat spicy food. However, the Choley Bhature served in breakfast were delicious!
The hotel was very clean & comfortable, staff was polite, friendly, very accommodating & helpful. Neelu & the other guy at the front desk were exceptionally diligent & went over & beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Our cab was scheduled at 11 am and the check out time was 10:30 am, they themselves offered that we can checkout late & no need to rush. This is very rare & depicts great customer service & generosity. Thank you guys! We loved every bit of our stay with you.

United KingdomThe hotel was perfect for us, the problem lay with the groups that stay there. The first two nights we had to ask a group attending a wedding to quieten down outside our room, but that was nothing compared to the rude and arrogant party of six families that took over our floor of the hotel in our final night. The men from the families sat in the bedroom opposite our door. They had the door open and were drinking, smoking and shouting. The ladies were letting the children run around the corridors squealing. We asked politely for them to quieten down at 11pm but to no avail. The receptionist at the hotel dealt with the issue to the best of his ability and was kind and helpful, providing us with another room. Not ideal but we were grateful. If the hotel’s target market is large parties this needs to be made clear. It spoiled what was otherwise a lovely stay. Thank you again to the staff who worked hard to try to resolve the issue.
The room was great with a view of the fort. It was really large and we had a seating area and a comfy large bed. The shower was good and the water very hot. Facilities were good and the staff were all extremely helpful, courteous and polite. The breakfast was limited on a couple of days but on our last morning there was a buffet, which was tasty. We were happy with the location. Good value for money.

IndiaThere are very few rooms with a window of the outside view. I had to get my room changed to get a window. Facilities are limited and little service. There was no kettle and I asked to be upgraded to get one, but they supply the kettle only in the suites. Very few toiletries are provided including toilet paper. Breakfast buffet was limited and not very good. The area surrounding the hotel is not nice to walk in.
The room and bathroom were clean and of a decent size. Staff was friendly. The lunch was good. The restaurant has a view of the fort. The hotel is more like a guesthouse, very basic and on the 3rd and 4th floor of a commercial building, but clean overall. Its close to the fort and the restaurant has a view of the fort.

IndiaThe hotel is on the 3rd and 4th floor of the building and the reception is on the third floor . The rooms are not soundproof . We could hear the reception people talking in our room . The shower in the bathroom is too high and the place to keep the towels is too high.
The staff at the hotel are polite and professional. I had requested for a Hard Bed and they made arrangements which made my stay comfortable. The room is big and spacious. I was surprised with the availability of hot water and electricity for 24 hours in a small place like Chitorgarh. The In room dinning - The quality of food was good . The housekeeping staff was efficient so was the reception staff . The toiletries provided were of good quality. The location of the hotel is excellent - the fort is just 10 minutes drive from the hotel . The hotel is new and the quality of the furniture and overall look is good . We enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a stay in Chitorgarh.
