Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaStay at Shri Krishna Bhakti Ashram was the best part of our tour to Brindavan. The location in just 3 min walk away from ISKCON. The rooms were superb and spacious and clean. The people there are very helpful. And it is peaceful for a good night's sleep. Just opposite there is a great restaurant Muraliwala which serves good food. A great place to regain your breath before jumping right back into the action on the streets.

IndiaThough it’s not a major issue but I would have loved it more if they could have provided breakfast. food is not available that’s the only concern.

Very good atmosphere. The room was very spacious and clean, with full of furnitures. It was quiet. There's WIFI (but sometimes, it shutted down). The water heater works perfectly. Bed is confortable. Tej was very nice and helpfull. He gave us full informations about the city and other cities around and he always found a driver when we needed it. And the other people are nice too. They gave us bottles of water several times during our stay. Thanks again. If we come again in Vrindavan, we don't hesitate to come back in this Ashram. Be carefull : the 1st pooja starts at 6:40 am and the doors close at 10 pm. The location is also great.

CanadaBed is the firm side of the spectrum, which is a little hard on my back. That's just a personal preference, so I can't take points away from that. I just can't find anything wrong with the place, and I've seen many.
This is by far the best placed I have stayed in at this price range, I have been travelling in India for a few months already. Room and bathroom are remarkably clean. They made the place very nice, not just okay. Beautiful furniture, all matched and well maintained, up to the hand towel by the sink. Clean floors, clean walls, clean paint, clean bed, everything. Hot water in both shower and sink with nice and spotless taps. Each of the room has its own little table and fronts in front. There is a level of detail here rarely seen in that class. Let’s not forget the little room heater if you visit in the colder months! Staff is nice and they insist on getting the room and bathroom cleaned every day. The location is also central, but far remote enough from the street making it quiet at night but still at a manageable distance of most attractions. There was no room service at the time of this writing, but there are plenty of restaurants and ATMs across the street. Coffee and tea are provided in the room. I came for one night but stayed three, just because this was so enjoyable.

United KingdomI can not think of anything.
Highly recommended... We booked the place in the last minute even the fact that the place had no reviews. We arrived in the dark, but even so the place was more then welcoming. Everything inside is newly renovated in a very typical way. The room has a Tv with wifi, hot water kettle, free tea and coffee, hot water and a lot of space. The people from the Ashram let us watch the morning ceremony at 6.30a.m. on the next morning. We wish we stayed there for longer. Happy traveling Rado

ItalyThe lack of glass of the windows ( they were designed this way back in The days)
The room is spacious and clean, with fresh linens and a well-maintained bathroom. The furniture is very nice and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort and charm of the room. Outside the room, the aisle features a couple of chairs and a small table, perfect for enjoying the daylight. Each room is equipped with a kettle for preparing tea and instant coffee, along with a pack of biscuits—a thoughtful touch. Note that the windows only have mosquito nets and shutters—there is no glass. On chilly days, you’ll need to keep the shutters closed and rely on electric lighting. The bed is quite hard and firm as it rests on a wooden platform. There are many monkeys around, but the staff is attentive and ensures your comfort if you feel uneasy. They are very friendly, even those who don’t speak English. In November, the garden looks bare, which detracts slightly from the atmosphere shown in photos. However, the quiet of this courtyard makes up for it, offering a peaceful retreat from the city’s chaos. Across the street, there is a great restaurant that serves delicious cappuccinos and a variety of pastries for breakfast—perfect for starting your day.

IndiaThis is my genuine review (not sponsored by anyone) Review Intention: The review provided should have clear understanding for someone who is looking for accommodation in this ashram. I read almost 30+ hotels review where to stay either in mathura/vrundavan, later i found this ashram. I went here with no expectations. How I reached: I took direct electric sharing auto from mathura railway station to Prem mandir (~ 50 rs) and few steps to reach this Ashram. Near by places : Iskcon temple (500 mts) Prem mandir (< 1km) banke bihar temple ( ~ 2 km) Nidhivan (~ 2.5 km) . Vrindavan Bus stand (~ 3 km) bus point ( to catch bus for barsana, govardhan) (< 1 km). You can hire direct autos too from this place to mathura , gokulam , raaval. Ashram Experience: Though the ashram looks older but environment is beautiful. was surprised to see cleanliness maintained by staff. The road where this ashram is located will always be crowded with tourists as its the way between prem mandir-Iskcon-banke bihari temple. available. Electric Autos are always available. There is hdfc bank & atm in front of ashram and other 2-3 banks/ATMs near by(~ 500 mts) Initially i took accommodation for a day and extended for two more days as liked it. They have agreed for my early check-in( 8 AM) owner , staff were so co-operative and supportive specially Prakash is very friendly. children can spend time in garden inside ashram premises. if someone interested in GoSeva (cow) , you can find goshala inside ashram premises. the rooms are inside grills. So no fear of robbery and monkeys. One can spend their evenings sitting on furniture provided in waranda. room cleaning, linen , tea / coffee satchets , water bottles were always taken care by them. Room is provided with Wi-fi, A.C , power back-up, Smart TV with Wi-fi , Geyser, couple of chairs, bed lamps, queen size bed, wooden almirah . Washroom is very neat with bathing liquid soap available.
