Our view from the wall to wall window (fantastic !) was more of a partially built house right in front of the window ;) our soap dispenser in the shower was empty, our request to fill it was strangely turned down but probably due to misunderstanding.

We liked everything about this place, our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, it is a very quiet place from Shimla's hussle., good for those who like to walk. The chef and manager in one was very kind and accommodating with our eating and traveling needs (helped us with a challenging travel request). The 'main road' can be reached by 10 minutes of steep walking, something locals do every day :) so think of it when you do so :) Nearby is a train station from which you can go to Shimla main railways station (45 minutes) for 230 rupees / person, to add to the fun side of the stay.

Approaching the Hotel is a bit difficult. No galleries,No trace and more no outside sitting. Srounding by buildings there is no clear view of the valley.

Mr. Thakur and the hotel staff are excellent in services, even with a limited menu. Their honesty, sincerity, and commitment to guest satisfaction really stand out. Both the staff and owners contribute to such a positive experience!

This place is definitely the best place I've been in India! Feels like home. Not only for the rooms; that are clean and spacious and also the shower; but the service is just amazing. Yogesh, Manju and her husband Amit were always there for helping us with everything we needed. Kind and lovely people who made us feel so special. Thank you all ♥️ Highly recommend!!!!

The location is quite tough to reach. Especially if you have no idea of mountain driving. The room was good but the view was not as great as the hotel is down the hill. Rooms are close enough. You can get the sound of an adjacent room if music plays little loud.

The staff and owner are good. Ready to help whenever required.

Location is dangerously secluded. 1km far from main road but it declines steeply. This drive was a separate adventure. Good thing is they provide a driver to receive or drop you to main road.

Hotel was reasonably clean and tidy. Room size was good & bathrooms were large. Food was just okay. You won't find all these things in Hotels in Shimla at such price. It was 2K per room with breakfast & that too at weekend.

The hotel room didn't match the pictures in the website at all. There were no views of the mountain from my room and it was extremely disappointing. The hotel is also located very far away from the main road - so one needs to walk uphill for about 30-40 minutes to reach the main road and repeat the same ardous walk on their way back. It was exhausting!

The staff was exceptionally helpful. Since the hotel location is a little interior, the hotel called us and a driver came to pick us up. They have really good food and all breakfast is also good. They can provide you motorcycle or scooters for rent too.

Getting there can be tricky if you are driving by yourself, but if you go by taxi then it should not be a problem.

Great place, which was exceptionally clean and friendly. I have been out driving in North India starting from Mount Abu, but this has been the best hotel stay for the money. It will give run for the money to some 4 star and above hotels.
