I had the most wonderful stay at gostop Varanasi! The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the staff made me feel right at home. The location couldn’t be better – it’s just a short walk away from the major tourist attractions and the beautiful temples, making it super convenient for sightseeing. The rooms are cozy and clean, and the vibe here is perfect for meeting fellow travelers. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Varanasi!

There were a lot of noisy people in the common space, they were playing table football late at night and being so loud right beside our door.

It was a nice and quiet location, we could shover after check out, it was a nice spacious room.

I didnt have a toilet in the dorm, so I had to go outside of the building to the toilet and shower. There was no place to put your stuff in the shower. Thats why I couldn't stay there to long. Other dorms they have toilets.

The location is pretty good for Varanasi, about 10 - 15 min walk to the centre or the Ganges The staff is very friendly and helpful The 24 bed dorm is pretty big and clean, there are curtains to have some privacy and a big locker to put your backpack. I was there during Maha Shivaratri, thats why it was more expensive.

Close to the city center so you could walk there. We chose a private room and the room was simple but nice! Kind staff.

The bathroom was pretty terrible; as many other hotels do, you shower in the whole room, so there is water everywhere. The pressure was bad and there was no hot water. The location is also pretty far from anything interesting.

Cheap accommodation, decent beds with working AC and a 24/7 kitchen you can order from.

The furniture used was old. The flush was leaking . The carpets used were dirty. The private room was in a corner . It had a sharing door opening in the room with the dorm (it was closed though). That was not good the voices from dorm were coming inside.

Cleanliness should be improved more. Need to pay more attention while preparing the room, in my case bucket and mug was missing in bathroom.

Staffs are very helpful and polite. Hostels is colourful which gives vibrant and positive vibes. It has all basic facilities and even has food service. Decent Location, not too crowded and auto and other means of transport can be taken just nearby. Budget is also affordable. Overall good hostel at average price with all basic amenities.

Outside the window there was a motor or compressor that started working early on the morning. A lot of noise. The staff was kind and turned it off. Building works just across the narrow were loud as well. Sink in the bathroom is small, no place to put stuff. The location is not very good. Paying 34$ per night seems expensive for the basic facilities.

The room (privet with bathroom) was clean and basic. There was hot water. There was a small desk in the room, and small table with two small banches.
