Nice new, modern and clean hotel well placed for sightseeing in this vibrant city. Very friendly and helpful staff . Very good breakfast e ad nd we also ate at the in house vegetarian restaurant which was excellent . All in all would recommend this hotel to anyone padding through Mangalore.

Tv not working, Ac controller was bit messy, bottle water bottles were unclean. I fell sick during the stay , so i bought my own set of mineral water

The only downside is that the price felt a bit high for the value. However, the excellent service and comfort made up for it. Overall, a great hotel, but check room details before booking.

I had a wonderful stay at Avatar. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent. Gym is included, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I didn’t realize my room had no window, but the staff kindly offered a free upgrade to a higher category. While the new room also had no window, it featured a separate space with a second light source, which made a big difference.

Breakfast was in The Loft close to reception. A variety of buffet dishes were available, the cooked items being mostly cold. One has to be choosy when deciding what to eat. There's also an omelette, dosa cooked to order service which served warmish food. Fruit etc also there.

The hotel has many grades of rooms. We were in an Alcove room which was very clean and comfortable with a decent size bed with a firm mattress. Breakfast was included.

Food at the loft restaurant inside the hotel is not good

This property is in a nice convenient location. Staffs are friendly. Namratha from Housekeeping was excellent with her service. Nithisha from the restaurant and stairway cafe is very polite and good in her service

Can be loud when there is a happening at the venue above. But parties will stop at midnight.

Nice room with AC, fan and rain shower. Restaurant is great and the cocktail bar is the best in town. Good location within the city.

The iron, the water kettle were not working. The shower was leaking. The room service wud take too long to take the calls so wud housekeeping. Mr. Shubham at the desk was extremely efficient and helpful. This was the saving grace. Food at the restaurant was good. Room otherwise was good.

There was loud music in our room until 12.45am from a wedding function. The staff were very apologetic and we still enjoyed our stay but they could go with keeping earplugs for guests in case this problem re-occurs. This would help a lot.

Room needs renovation as stains are there in the bathroom and patio area and phone wasn’t working .

There wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay. The Avatar Hotel and Convention exceeded our expectations.

There was a lot of variety to choose from for the breakfast (e.g. Western food as well as Indian food). Staff were very attentive. Facilities were excellent including the gym and spa. We also enjoyed the entertainment (singers) provided by the hotel on one of the nights of our stay.
