No proper Ventilation and no fan is there. Too busy and want to wait for the toilets. Location is good. need to improve.

Economy to stay. But the facilities are too poor. Booked using booking.com the incharge asked to cancel that and said to pay the amount directly to him. They allotted an 8 bed dorm with one side fan and a fully closed room with no proper air circulation.

I have been staying here since last year. The quality of this place is going down and down. The entire place feels like a PG. There are people who are here since last year and they are the ones who get preferential treatment. They changed my 6 room dorm to 8 room at the last moment because long term stay folks keep on extending their stay. I had a flight at 4 in the morning. The washroom had no water and toilet was not flushed. Disgusting. I am never staying here.

To begin with, the room and bathroom were not that clean and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom as it said in the description. Quite frequently during the first day, the male staff entered the room. It did not bother me too much personally, but I could see how it would bother other women who specifically book a female dorm. When I came back from a walk, another girl was sitting on my bed and a bag of mine that I had placed on it was moved. The staff had seen it and not said anything before I came back. Finally, the check in process was not that comfortable as I had to repeat a couple of times that I had a booking, how many nights I was going to stay etc.

Overall I was not that satisfied with my stay at Desire Hostel. I stayed in the shared female dorm. The terrace on the roof was ok. There was air con available in the dorm rooms. The price was ok and the location quite near by the metro (~10min walking).

no a/c during the day but at night. they should do the opposite way.plus i got so many bed bugs there I thought it was mosquitoes but it’s definitely bed bugs. I’m still suffering from itchiness especially bathroom wasn’t clean

Not preferable for couple stay.. Good for singles.. Construction work were happening just outside the room.. Full of noise and not get water, towels soap n ol in bedroom.. Not worth for couple all i can say

Bathroom was not cleaned regularly as it should be for 8 beds in female dormitory. Water ran out one night and they said it will be available in the next morning. Though they gave us little water to freshen up but that wasn't enough. Also ac was instructed to be operated between 9pm to 9 am only. It is not mentioned on any booking site. There is only one wall fan for all 8 beds in female dormitory and no ceiling fan.

This is a review to help fellow tourists. If you want a cheap hotel (though not so cheap) and don't really bother except for the bed, you can go for it! But I wouldn't recommend to a friend. I really didn’t understand since I entered the hotel how does it have so much high rating! May be it's mainly from the shared dormatory stays which is really very cheap. I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend at least to stay in the family room. The floor was not properly clean but full of dusts. I saw spider webs in the walls. It's mentioned in the facilities that it has a balcony. In reality that is totally covered by a wall outside so no view at all! You can only put clothes to dry. Sunlight cannot enter the room so you always have to keep the light on. Moreover you always need to keep a mosquito repellent on as there are a lot of mosquitos in the room all the day! Even after keeping in on always you can find some mosquitos flying here and there! There are closets full of old pillows and bedding which you don't need at all but you won't understand why those are there! Those old stuffs inside closets are also not nice for eyes. Washroom was okay, cannot say good. Only one towel was provided, that is also after asking which was torn!!! I can keep going, but this is enough... The worst experience till date for a booking on booking.com. This hotel doesn't meet the standards of booking.com I must say! Those two stars I gave for allowing early check-in. Go through the pictures I attached to see by yourself.

We were allowed to check in half an hour prior. The location is also good. These are the positive things of this stay.

I stayed in many different hostels in delhi i it was probably one of the best ones. But i dont like one of them at all. Its not so clean and at 9 in the morning comes a guy in to clean a puts on the light.
