It was a bit pricey for a hostel but compared to other accommodations in Varkala still good value for money.

Lovely clean hostel with a nice atmosphere! We had a great time chatting to the volunteer staff member, who is a travelling therapist! :) Met some great people! The location is great for exploring Varkala.

While cups, plates are clean, the kitchen needs a deep clean as certain cupboards that are not used often by patrons have roaches.

Nice backpacker hostel with laidback chilled atmosphere. Good communal areas.

Toilet to bunk ratio is not great (only few rooms have attached baths) and the cafe next door is very loud on weekend evenings. Munroe Island boating organised by the reception was kinda a waste of time and money. Too much driving there and back (denitely more than the hour that was mentioned) and hardly an hour of boating. Our guide brought us back in such a hurry that we didn't actually see sunset, even though that was the eintire point and we had only started boating at 5pm for that exact reason. But hey, one need not opt in for this and Lost is a good place to stay.

The location, the people, the spaces to sit and socialise or work, the kitchen access, the view from the balocnies/ rooftop. I'd definitely return - it's a good place whether you want to WFH or meet travelers and socialise. It's quite big and the number of slippers you see is huge, but doesn't feel crowded since everyone kinda spreads out to different areas. I'd definitely recommend the deep sea dolphin trip organised at the reception.

1. Location: One word - 'Perfect'!! The hostel is on the North cliff, barely 5 seconds walk from the Helipad (which is the main alighting point and parking area for entering the north cliff). You step out of the hostel and are immediately on the path lined with cafes, restaurants, shops etc. On the opposite side of the path is the Varkala cliff beach and the staircase down to the beach. 2. Cleanliness: My room was simple but had all the basic amenities, i.e. fresh sheets and pillows, clean towels, AC, a double window with sunlight, an ensuite bathroom and a small balcony. I could feel the room being fresh and clean. 3. Community area: It has a nice chillout area as soon as you enter, where you could meet fellow hostellers. However, this is an open-air space so I have no idea how it would be in the summer. I would definitely stay here on my next trip as well.

Being on the cliff, the location is perfect. Satisfied with basic amenities. Friendly staff. Overall had a wonderful experience and value for money. I'd would love to stay here again in future.

The bedding could have been a little better. It's almost there. oh...you need to better plan the outlets for the upper beds. there's a gap between the bed and the wall, my phone fell through twice. Not all beds, but some.

The best part of any hostel is the cultural exchange and meeting new, unique, and interesting people. This hostel is very promising. the staff was very accommodating and helpful. I never felt not at home. The location is the best, the way to the beach is right in front.

for what it was, it was a little bit overpriced for the 2 nights at more than 200 euros. the value for money wasn’t the best even for New years it was pretty expensive

Room was hot. Booked a non ac one. Very few bathrooms foe such a crowd.

Common room and no interference attitude from reception. They don't even care when you call them. Non attending calls and enquiries is their masterpiece.
