One of the best experience we had while staying here. Manager and staff's are friendly. As for food it was too good. If any one want to book resort i personally recommend this hotel.

There is hardly anything that you would not like about this property however you have lot of luggages then you have to manage to keep them on bed or floor or window.

This property is in fantastic location. Staff are really cooperative and helpful. They will help you carry your luggages to the fort if requested. Spectacular view from top of the terrace. They provided extra small bed for my child. Only thing is you might need to wait a bit for food in peak hours which is likely in all hotels. Property owner also quite helpful

It was wonderful experience food quality super room are so spacious and well maintained all the staff is also very Cooperative specially bhanu bhai who guided us through out our journey and helped us to explore the city.

Our rooms do not have AC, though it's not a big problem. Rooms facing outward of the fort wall could be very hot during the day. Restaurant is a bit pricey (to be fair, food prices in Jaisalmer are more expensive than in other cities we visited).

It's more like a guesthouse, and located well inside the fort so you can only reach the place by autos or walking. We were allowed early check-in to rest after a long bus trip. Staff are nice and will accommodate your requests. Rooms are spacious, hot water runs 24/7. The restaurant on the top floor has very good view, though when we stayed it was quite hot sitting outside even in the evening. The hotel is also affiliated with a tour operator for "non-touristic" desert safaris (that is, you are arranaged your own camel and can choose to sleep outdoors at the dunes instead of in a crowded desert camp) and the prices after bargaining are rather reasonable compared to other operators.

The hotel is inside the fort and u have an amazing view from your room. The rooftop is amazing aswell ! The food was very delicious and the staff was very helpful! Specially Moyab khan ! His hospitality is incredible!

Not much to mention but if you want change of towel, water bottle or room cleaning then please ask for it, and they will take care

Hotel Surya has an awesome location with a superb view. You can enjoy your stay in Jaisalmer right in the center of the fort with everything within walking distance. The service in the hotel is very good and Sakur/Bhanu and their team will take great care of you. In the morning there will be a person who will sing nice Rajasthani welcome song during your breakfast. Restaurant in the hotel is great and you can enjoy the great view with it. The hotel team will also arrange or advise you about Desert safari and other tours. The rooms are also very good (AC rooms with view) and we had rooms with very nice view of the city. Overall a great experience. The hotel guys will also help arrange autos to take your luggage to railway station or vehicle down the fort.

The location is superb as you will live in the Living Fort of Jaisalmer experiencing the culture and heritage. Bhanu and his staff is exceptional as he gave us early check in morning, upgraded our room to better view and also very sweetly cooked dinner for us. He truly is the best host and I would recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely place to stay in the fort. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great food served at the rooftop restaurant with a fantastic view looking out over Jaisalmer. Would stay here again!

The location of the property is amazing, food is excellent. Staff was very polite and helpful. If you are in Jaisalmer choose to stay in fort, that gives you local experience.

The bathroom and the room could have been cleaner, but they are in a medieval fort, so not that bad.

Very good location, inside the fort, in one of the towers, with a view over the city and a nice place to sit and bath in sun (untill afternoon) or just look at the city (afternoon, evening, night). They also serve food and have a nice range of options.
