How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Friendly staff and a perfect location close to churches, temples shops, restaurants and the sea. Very peaceful and relaxing after a busy Indian day . Rooms were large and showers hot. House care and reception super helpful too

Breakfast was limited and started very late. Only after 8 am every day. Which should ideally start by 7 am. Room was okay but my TV was not working fully. Lock had issue. Room bathroom don't have all basic toiletries.

The hotel is 400 meters away from the beach. Has a spacious airy dining space on the terrace for breakfast and parking on the ground floor. Has enough parking spot. Enough resturants near by. The rooms are very big enough for a solo traveller or a couple. All toiletries were provided. Rooms were clean. Complimentary water n coffee powder was provided . There was a kettle in the room.

Ambiance is very good and property is so picturesque. Rooms are very good and spacious - value for money Parking available on first come. We recently spent a wonderful day at Treebo Grace Inn Pondicherry with our family, and I must say it exceeded all our expectations! The hotel's warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities having very good free breakfast.

Great location, beautiful inside atmosphere, great staff. Friendly and helpful receptionist and staff, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was very good. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had complimentary breakfast. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

We went for Photoshoot for our prewedding. The Front office staff allowed supported us in making our shoot a successfull one. It was little bit late to check out but they offered grace time without any charges. Will be back here again. Special thanks for allowing camera man and beautician. very very supportive.

Auto charges are little expensive
SUPER STAY. They provided south Indian dishes and I requested to provide bread toast and butter for me. Being a foreigner they accepted by requested and specially provided me with bread, butter and Jam. I appreciate their effort.

Rooms are very neet and clean. Manager Kannan guided us with all tourist location and also arrange cab for local sight seeing. He also helped us to get entry tickets for Matri mandhir . Mr John orginised the dinning area very well. We checked out early in the morning the hotel staff arranged an auto for us to reach railway station. Extremely happy. Next time will plan better to schedule our stay.
