It was a bit noisy - the traffic outside, the mosque, goings-on at reception. They did offer that I could move rooms after the first night as they are aware this ground floor room can be loud, but I stayed put because I couldn't be bothered to pack up! My advice would be to request an upstairs room if you're easily disturbed. Not major but the shower went very hot and then cold. I didn't raise this though and I would still recommend this hotel.

Nice big room. I liked the shower gel provided in the bathroom. Breakfast was good value at 100 Rs and they brought it to my room. The staff were very accommodating - I asked for a kettle and was given one. I also got a free ride to the bus station on my last day. The location was pretty good - 10-15 minute walk to restaurants and a short ride to the town centre.

We had some misunderstandings with the staff regarding calling transportation for us, but they solved it in the end. The area is not the nicest.

The room was clean and comfortable. But it’s definitely not a “Resort”.

It is slightly uphill. Constant noise of autos if your room is close to road ( ours was very close and autos run almost all night long :/) There is no food at the property except morning tea. It's close to centre but the approach is not walk friendly. The road is broken and the hotel is uphill. So we had to take auto everytime to go out for meals.

No heating so cold at nighttime. No breakfast available but nearby places are 10-15 min walk away which is not a problem unless you're in a rush. Also a couple of stains (on towel and pillow case). If you pay them 1000rs before arrival to secure your booking, make sure to remind them when you arrive to pay for your room.

Good sized room, friendly and helpful staff, drinking water available, hot water available for showers. Great location. Helped us arrange a day tour with a well priced tuktuk.

- The power went out several times on the 2nd day! Even if the hotel can't do much about it, it was very stupid - There is a big hole in the bathroom without mosquito protection... - Shower spray could have been better. It was very difficult to keep the temperature at a constant comfortable temperature.

- Comfortable bed - Comforter was comfortable and warming - very clean - helpful staff - Free drinking water to refill - Toilet paper, shampoo and soap available - relatively quiet at night and not much noise

Place is at the edge of the town but still close to few decent restaurants, its walkable but you need to climb hill on the way back just so you know.Hot water is available but in my case the tap/shower was temperamental so the hot water was not readily coming so I needed to try twisting through knob few times and wait for few mins to before it became hot.Sheets are clean but not super clean, please check with staff and they'll replace it if you are not satisfied.

Staff at the property are quite helpful, especially Murgan is an awesome host, he helped whenever I needed, found me tuk tuk at a reasonable price for sight seeing also helped with Ayurveda massage place and negotiated price for me. Wifi at this place is of good coverage but the power went off quite often[2-5 mins at times] so if you are looking to work then this could be a problem. Tea coffee provide on request.Also you can make hot water.

We first had a room on the front, street side. It was very noisy.

Rooms are nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Ask for rooms at the back as the hotel is on a busy street.

Provided facility doesnt match what i have requested. Booked a room with futon beds with enough space but have provided a room without them then had crumpled the beds so whole room was congested.

Staff had provided help with the advise on places to go, had helped to move the belongings, provided umbrella etc

Cons 1. There is no restaurant in property. Even for a cup of tea you will have to move out. 2. There are no views from property. If you want a place just to rest you can choose this hotel.

We had an amazing experience, thanks to the staff, especially GM Velmurugan. He was such a gentleman—so friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to arrange our stay in Thekkady, which ended up being the highlight of our entire trip.

I faced a problem in the pricing I booked the hotel for 1700 but they added the tax 250 at the hotel. In the website itself I didn't notice. So, check the total price before booking
