Staff don’t seem very happy, not engaging. Room a bit drab, mattress was old and collapsing. Shower sprayed everywhere, louvre broken in bathroom - could see onto neighbouring building balconies from shower. Not most convenient location. Ordered fried eggs at breakfast, they come out not cooked properly and cold, obvious pre-cooked and sitting in a fridge.

Common areas of this Haveli look impressive. Good range of food at breakfast on the buffet. Nice rooftop terrace. Rooms a good size. Older gentleman who took our bags to room and then to car on check-out was so lovely and smiling. A couple of night restaurant staff friendly.

My goodness, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are wow. This was our favorite hotel in entire Rajasthan. Great Staff, amazing food decently priced at the rooftop restaurant. They even accommodated our Vegan needs. Mr. Mohan Singh was super courteous and the hotel is located very close to the railway station.

The bed in one of our rooms was actually two single bed instead of queen, while I booked 2 queen bed rooms...so the bed used to get separated sometimes and the gap would be issue. It is only on the ground floor room, rest all rooms are standard. I should have asked for some compensation as I booked for 3 nights!

Clean, comfortable, not far to main attractions in a car. Staff very friendly - a particular thank you to Bhanwar Singh for his hospitality. Rooms are to a good standard. Not quite the finesse of Western chains, but spacious and to a good spec. Would stay here again if I was in the area.

My recent tour of Rajasthan was bookended by two stays at Umaid Mahal. Room 305 on the second floor in the corner is quiet and has everything: a firm mattress and soft pillow, very clean bedding and towels, a sunny bathroom in the morning, in-room coffee service, TV channels activated and the AC is working fine. The decor is pretty too. The dinner menu offers a good selection of dishes including local cuisine and the atmosphere on the rooftop is pleasant. A cultural show (Kalbeila music and dance) adds ethnic flair. The hotel is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood and I would definitely stay again.

The room we got was brilliant however because of a water tap problem in the sink we had to shift the room. The room we shifted was as such ok but the bathroom was quite small & the overall size of the room too. Would have loved to get a similar room as was originally given and booked

The location was perfect as we travelled via train and the hotel is very close to the train station. The staff are very helpful and polite. The hotel maintains cleanliness and hygiene very well. Overall will definitely recommend.

Diner time is very worst. After 10:30 you can't order the food in kitchen. Kitchen closing time is 10:30 Night.
