Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaThe food was average. Chinese cuisine was a put off. All items that we ordered tasted of raw cornflour. The tandoor was non functional so can't comment on it. The biggest shock was that the TV was not functional either. And the guys said since we hv booked a basic room, the facility is not available.
The hotel was beautiful without a doubt. The food was average.

United KingdomThere could possibly have been more breakfast options, although it is possible to order eggs/omelettes.
Gorgeous hotel located at the end of a dead end road about 15-20 minutes walk from the lake. Large modern rooms with lovely shower roomat very reasonable prices. Balcony overlooking the pool (which unfortunately was too cold for us in January) with loungers and tables and seating. Lovely colours. Quiet location apart from the fireworks.Nicest hotel we booked during our Rajastan holiday.

DenmarkThis experience was Incredibly recharging and the perfect hideout after a month of traveling in India. The hotel is from 2023, beautifully decorated, incredibly clean and with staff available at all times. Great quiet location a little outside of Puska. We walked or payed 100-200 for a rickshaw into the city. The food is among some of the best we’ve had in India too. Great selection of both Indian and continental breakfast. Cannot recommend high enough

United KingdomWe booked this hotel for 2 nights to relax at the end of our trip in northern India and it was perfect. Such a calming and relaxing environment to get away from the chaos for a few days. Really beautifully designed building with great facilities. Quiet location 10-15 minutes walk to town. Pool area and restaurant were also great.

Well maintained property with really great staff. You don’t usually see this level of cleanliness in the hotels or well trained staff unless they’re 5 stars however this boutique exceeded all expectations and more. Had a great time hanging around in the property too

United KingdomThe road to the hotel isn’t quite finished (sandy) but it is new and would expect that to be resolved soon. Not the hotels fault though.
The staff were fantastic, very attentive and always willing to help. It was my boyfriend’s birthday on the day we arrived and I asked if they could do something special for him. Wow! They decorated the room and put vegan treats in the room. He was delighted. The rooms are super comfortable and really clean. Great amenities and very comfortable bed. Would recommend booking a room with a view of the pool and mountains… so peaceful. Loved the design in the common areas, quirky and such a beautiful pool area. The breakfast was great and any food we ordered was freshly made and really tasty. Can’t recommend this place enough, definitely worth a stay in Pushkar.

SpainThere is nothing we disliked.
Absolutely everything about this hotel is amazing. From the tasteful aesthetic and decor to the warm and welcoming care received by staff. We truly felt at home at the White Rabbit. All the staff will accommodate to your needs in you need to, they were kind enough to give us our room before check in, and so many more commodities. The relaxing and colorful ambiance makes you feel like you’re in a movie. Rooms are thoughtfully designed for pure comfort and cleanliness is worthy of a 5 star hotel. Food is delicious with a variety of options at the buffet or to order. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at not only in India, but in all our travels. Although it is not listed as a luxury hotel, it really is one.

United KingdomNothing at all.
HWR is a new hotel in the hills above the lake. It's beautifully designed, full of stylish features and clever lines so that you feel not only that it's an old established place but that you are somewhere where you should probably be paying more than you are. The staff are excellent (but a little shyer and with less English than in bigger cities, but absolutely helpful and friendly) the hotel extremely clean and the food very good (Pushkar is a vegetarian city so don't expect meat or eggs). Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed. Although it's in the hills, it's only a 10-15 minute, easy walk to the lake and the market. The swimming pool is clear and sparkling with very good sun bathing/seating areas. HWR isn't a "heritage" hotel but neither is it one of the perfectly pleasant but rather soulless new hotels in India. The owner is full of energy and ideas and the place will get even better over the next 12 months. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we go back to Pushkar.

6th time to India and this was my favorite hotel! Peaceful and serene with outstanding views. Incredibly stylish, felt like we were on a dreamy Wed Anderson film set. Rooms were super spacious and luxurious with a great blend of modern(bathroom)and classic hotel. The food was delicious and the service was top notch, special shout out to the kitchen staff! The owner was super nice and went out of his way to meet everyone. We loved meeting him and hearing about his plans for the hotel. The pool area was very lux, great place for lounging or working. Loved everything about this place!! Balcony sunset views are a vibe.

AustraliaNothing, everything was outstanding!
We drove in the gate and both said WOW and never stopped during our 3 night stay in this very special boutique hotel. The foyer flows into beautiful large courtyard/marble terrace area before entering the building where the rooms are located. The lift takes us to the second level where we open the door to our room overlooking the sparkling pool, outdoor garden lounge area and mountain/countryside. Instantly we feel at home and very relaxed after a couple of big city stays it was perfect. A super nice touch were the bathrobes that were provided. Breakfast is available in or outdoors on the terrace. Sundeep, the owner has poured so much detail into your corner of this amazing accommodation, considering every guests need. His staff are all very helpful and have a good command of English. Soniy on reception was very capable and helpful. A truly special home away from home stay in Pushkar and within walking distance to everything for us. Just 4 months young with plans for more facilities we look forward to returning soon to enjoy the planned yoga space, library and spa on the rooftop. A 5 STAR EXPERIENCE!

White Rabbit is beautifully decorated, every angle of the hotel is “instagramable”. The courtyard is lovely to sit and enjoy breakfast/food inside or outside. The pool area feels very luxurious, this feels like a 5 star resort. Rooms are very spacious, great shower, comfy beds and pillows! Designed very well too. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, we met the owner and he couldn’t have gone more out of his way to ensure we were having an enjoyable stay. The hotel is a 10 minute stroll to the lake and markets around. Food was very yummy vegetarian food in the restaurant. We appreciated the omelettes / fried eggs in the morning freshly made for you. The owner also has a restaurant by the lake, be sure to check this out, this was one of our favourite meals in Pushkar! Would definitely recommend for a peaceful and luxurious stay!
