The location is just right in front of the rainbow road with a gorgeous view of the church. Everything is accessible. However, being in the vicinity of one of Reykjavík’s best attractions, the place can get noisy. Apart from that, it’s a very clean, spacious and cozy apartment.

This was the perfect room style for our family of 4. It was 4 blocks to bus stop #8 which was the pick up location for our tour. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that our room was ready at 8:30 AM on our arrival day. We had intended to just leave our luggage at the reception, but the early check-in made for a great start to our trip.

We loved the apartment for our family of 4. The beds were comfortable and we were really happy to have 2 pillows for each person. The location was perfect - close to restaurants and shopping. We also had a car one night and were able to park nearby.

We originally booked the accommodation without the option to cancel for a trip planned for four people. However, due to changes in our travel plans and the number of people, we were able to modify the reservation date through Booking. Upon arrival, we learned that the apartment we rented was on a different street. The place we stayed was right above Rainbow Street, which is a great location. You can park your car at P2 or P3 and easily reach the apartment. The flat was a 2+1 apartment located on the 2nd floor with no elevator. It had a bathtub, and the bathroom was quite spacious. There were power outlets next to the beds, and the sofa was very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with various small appliances, making it easy to cook meals. It’s a spacious apartment that can comfortably accommodate four people.

Noise from floor above! I know it’s an old building. If this doesn’t bother you (you are used to living in apartments), you will love this place. I was not. People were stomping and kids jumping on top of us. We were on the second floor in 502. If we stay again, I will ask to stay on the top floor apartments. 601 and 602, assuming they also have a two bedroom apartment. No bar of soap for the shower and the paper goods were horrible. They used the cheapest toilet paper and Kleenex ever. Such a small thing made a difference. Please upgrade paper products, Odinsve! It is smelly like the other reviewers said but that is from the geothermal heating. When you drive around the country, the steam from natural hot springs smells the same. We just kept the bathroom door closed all the time and it helped. Until you had to use the bathroom. Ha.

Cool location right on the Rainbow Road! Great for people watching. Very large room. Nice size, two bedrooms. Was such a neat area to stay in. Beds were comfy! Duvets were amazing. Loved having access to hotel staff even though we were a couple blocks away at the apartment. Loved that is was super warm (lots of radiators) but also tonnes of windows to open for fresh Icelandic air.

Apartment 7 in town centre - water pipes very smelly. Website cites Airport transfers available however this is not a free service provided by hotel. They will (and did very helpfully book taxi’s for us) for which we were most appreciative. Hotel advised us that they have asked Booking.com to remove this from their hotel advert but that Booking.com has not done so.

We saw the Northern Lights from our room balcony the one night we stayed here! It was on the third floor near the Main Street yet quiet. Lovely apartment in Reykjavik downtown.

Nothing, but a coffee machine would be a nice/useful addition to the kitchen facilities.

Centrally located with plenty of dining and shopping options at the doorstep. Nice, clean well-maintained apartment with a well-equipped kitchen. Staff at the hotel reception (which is in a separate building, 5 min walk from the apartments) were very welcoming and helpful with all our queries. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

I didn't like that they are trying to scam tourists at the hotel with taxis. I understand it's all part of the tourism industry but be careful. You really don't need a taxi to get anywhere around reykijavik everything is walkable, no one is gonna mug you, everyone speaks English. Back to the taxi experience we came, the guy said if we have a ride back to the airport the next day and I said not yet. He then replied emphasizing to get taxi that it's the same price as the flybus. And I asked him like 3 times what the price was and he wouldn't give it. At 3rd try he said it's 180 euro. Which would mean around 20 euro more per person to get to the airport than the bus and he tried me and said it's too far the bus stop. Even though we just came from there and managed to get to the hotel just fine and actually going back it took us only 10 minutes. So be careful I think they try to do this in every hotel. Otherwise nice place

It was the best location!!! We booked a Flybus from airport and arrived at the regular bus station in Reykijavik I think BSI it's called. We walked for 15 minutes with 20kg luggage in snow and we managed just fine. It was located right in the center and they even gave us a much earlier check in at 9:50am which was so nice because we flew in at 4am. I recommend it and it was nice and clean!

The apartment we stayed in was a short walk from the odinsve hotel. It was good to have the back up of the hotel in terms of reception and facilities. The apartment was in a great central location, with plenty of space. Very clean and good value for money.

So central- 1-5 minute walk within everythint central which was brilliant when it’s cold outside - also so comfortable , comfiest beds of a hotel I’ve ever stayed in but all in all location was brilliant , lots of outlet space as well which is always a plus

The bed went from one wall to the other wall, with ZERO spacing. I'm tall, so I had to sleep sideways. But, if a couple with one of them over 6'2", like me, you may have some discomfort not stretching out straight comfortably

There was a no-lift apartment i rented for three nights. As a senior, I needed assistance to get my luggage up the stairs. No problem. The staff was very helpful and courteous.
