Very noisy at night at the weekend especially Saturday night. Loud music from another venue close by until 3am! Safe did not work even though we reported it and it was looked at. Didn’t progress as could use other family member’s safe

Very central location -easy to walk everywhere. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Apotek restaurant was superb for dinner and the buffet breakfasts were also good.

While we loved the location, we found it a bit noisy at night if we wanted to keep our windows open since we were facing a park and some restaurants. Was no issue with ear plugs though.

Very comfy bed and spacious rooms. The room was equipped with everything we needed, including two TVs and bluetooth speakers. All staff members were super friendly and helpful. Fabulous location. We got the breakfast buffet included and it was incredible!!

Sadly I could hear the heavy bass from another building and had to change rooms in the middle of the night. The packed breakfast was really overpriced for what it was.

The location is excellent. The room and bathroom were clean and well appointed. Apotek Restaurant is a real plus.

Coffee machine was fine but a kettle and earthenware cups would be nice, rather than small paper ones.

The room was bright, clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were marvellous and the location was superb.

The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Rooms were also very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. This is one of our favorites places we've every stayed.

Central location, nicely designed room decent size for the price. The toiletries were of a high quality and included items we would not expect at price. The staff were very helpful with our questions. The adjoining restaurants food was very nice when we went.

Only improvement we might have liked to see was our packed breakfast upon departure day (so a small grumble really)... Unfortunately our bus to the airport left unnecessarily early in the morning, and we had to leave before the excellent hotel buffet breakfast opened (07:00), which we had of course paid for as part of the bed & breakfast package. The hotel were kind enough to provide us with a packed breakfast to take with us (for which - thanks), but it was only a ham & cheese sandwich and an apple, which was not representative of the fantastic breakfast buffet. Perhaps a little more imagination from the (excellent) restaurant staff here?

Excellent location, great room, whole hotel was immaculately kept, staff (reception, dining room, cleaning) were friendly & helpful. Breakfast buffet was absolutely fabulous! We'd love to go back to Iceland, and wouldn't stay at any other hotel in Reykjavik other than the Apotek!

The room size and the noise… beyond the hotel’s control.

The location was perfect.. walking distance to most of the city’s sights and restaurants. It is located in a busy section and can be noisy with music in the evenings. The room was nice but very small. The staff was outstanding! They went above and beyond by giving us tourist advice. Breakfast was great, even ate there for dinner: excellent !
