The fan stays on for a really long time after you’ve had the bathroom light on. In itself not a problem but it would have been nice to know because otherwise the place is absolutely and amazingly silent, which I love. I spent about 10 minutes desperately seeking some way to turn off the fan before it turned itself off.

We had to change hotels due to our flights being changed and they would not accept the cancellation.

Nothing. There was no lounge. The people were not pleasant to deal with.

Very slippery shower floor. Tiny room with 2 chairs but no table. Aesthetically unappealing, rather depressing.

An absolutely abhorrent stay. The staff were horrendously rude throughout the entire duration of the stay. The food at the restaurant was barely edible. The room was wildly uncomfortable, bed was like concrete and pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Incredibly overpriced accommodation. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

A more personal note when being in contact with staff: I understand young people are being hired from all over the world in hotels everywhere in Iceland to receive guests from all over the world, but this could be balanced with someone specialised in communication, maybe. It feels like everyone is communicating through an AI app with each other, which gets the job done, sure, but does not allow for any kind of bonding with the place one stays at. On the other hand, this is not so important. The staff did everything they should've.

The room was spacious and could have slept more than 3 people. I appreciated a lot the way this small apartment was organized- if we had stayed for more than two nights, we could have used the kitchen and be fully independent throughout the entire stay. I also enjoyed the view and the quiet of the place. Arnarstapi is a grouping of farmhouses, hardly a village, I cannot possibly think what more one could ask for in such a place. To have a hotel is a luxury to start with!

These units were interesting to stay in -- very comfy and BIG windows! We were glad they had curtains as the sunlight was intense. The area around the hotel was awesome for going on short and scenic walks. There is a restaurant on the property and that was a nice place for dinner. I don't think there were many other options. We also had breakfast there too.

Restaurant opens for dinner only if there's a lot of clients (it didn't open for us because there were only 3 clients that night), so we didn't have dinner.

The bed was comfortable. The view on the sea wa beautiful.

The room was very small There was instant coffee with a kettle and no way to heat our food. The food was outrageously expensive We paid 120 Canadian dollars for 3 veggie burgers and fries and 35 dollars for a buffet breakfast that we could eat only a small portion of.

The location was excellent. The staff at the restaurant was very helpful accommodating our vegan needs and also with our travel plans
