Anthoni, who works at the accommodation, is a really great person! He is always willing to help everyone! Knowing that he is a photography enthusiast, he offers a lot of advice on shooting! He is also in charge of the breakfast at the accommodation, which is absolutely fantastic!

Very small room. I didn't feel like there was enough food for breakfast, because when we arrived at 8:30 (breakfast is from 8am till 9:30am) there were no fruits/vegetables and cheese/ham left. I think the host brought more cheese later, though.

Right next to Vik. Walking distance to the shop and the black beach.

It was totally self check-in despite the property owners being present in the same building. Would have been more pleasant if an in-person greeting was offered to feel more welcome. Prior to arrival, received below message with these instructions : "Welcome to Arsalir! Your room number is x, upstairs. The keys are already in the lock. When you arrive, take off your shoes at the entrance and leave them on the shoe rack. The bathrooms are upstairs along the hall and also a toilet at the hall Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. If you use the kitchen downstairs (closes at 9:00 PM), please wash the dishes and put everything back where you found it. Please be quiet after 10:00 PM. Check out is before 11:00 AM. Leave the key in the lock before you leave. Enjoy your stay! ☺️"

They kindly allowed us to check in early when we arrived ahead of schedule. The location is excellent, the view from the windows is stunning, and it has a cozy, countryside family warmth. The breakfast was also fantastic. Highly recommended!

Considering the guesthouse is quite small, the breakfast quality and variety was very nice. The host (a young man from Poland) was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Remember to check your email before arriving the place, there is instructions of check-in. We have a room of shared bathroom in 2nd floor, it’s clean and we almost not met anyone in the restroom. Breakfast is good and very good atmosphere. We can see the red-roof church from our window!

Great location - right off the R1, 15 mins to Reynisfjara and 2 mins to the town centre. A friendly and helpful host and good breakfast! overall a great place to stay in Vik.

Soundproofing in the rooms was a bit on the low side and no double bed (only single beds), but both of these points are minor to me personally.

The breakfast was insanely good, and the house really feels comfortable and homey! Furthermore the place was super clean and well kept.

Kitchen in the basement, not so well equipped as we got used to on Iceland, but we managed :)our room was really small, and little chances to hang things.

Our room had a nice view of the church in Vik. The room was spacious and had a small sink in the corner which was a nice addition as this is a shared washroom room. Breakfast was nice in the morning in the cute cozy living room/dinning room. I think all rooms in Iceland are very expensive so this is a good value for money for Iceland standards.

It was all OK

This guesthouse was well situated in vik. Our room was clean and functional, the shared bathroom was large and also clean. Breakfast was very good and Tomas was very helpful. Parking was easy - directly outside.
