Great location, very quiet place. Cottage with a lot of personality, rich in classic board games, tv with neflix, disney etc. Truly made us cozy!

What a beautiful place! Secluded but close to town. Very well stocked with anything you may need. We really loved our time at the cabin.

The property is private and you are allowed to walk around the entire property. This also makes it very quiet.

The house was very comfortable and surrounded by woods and a view of the water. Kitchen was well stocked. We could not use the outside deck area, since it was raining.

This wonderful cabin is located in a private forest and provides nice natural experience with outdoor feel. Kitchen is well-equipped, Hot pot is accessible in provided bathrobes with 1 minute walk. It was really wonderful glamping experience.

Beautiful place, adorable cabins, cute interior, curious cat and playful dog...hot tub... Everything was perfect and unforgetabble. And Aurora.... Could stay there forever...

Self check in was a breeze we received all details in an email well in advance. It had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Shower had shampoo/conditioner. Had lovely views of the fjord with a surprise visit from Sebastian (or Stanley...?) the cat who asked to come in and made himself right at home. Hot tub was a special treat as well.

The only negative was that there were no instructions on how to use to TV. And we wished we could have stayed longer!

A very cute little cabin in a lovely location. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. for us to prepare our meals. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the extra bonus of a nice hot tub soak before bed. Really appreciated all the personal touches the owners have done.

We cant say enough wonderful things about this place. Our stay was simply AMAZING! The host was super friendly, the cabin was very cozy and comfortable. Wonderful location, beautiful property. We highly recommend Bakkakot cabins!

The shower screen was broken, and quite grubby, didn't bring to owners attention. Bed small for 2 large people.

Since the weather conditions were extrem (around minus 20 degrees) there was a problem with the water pipes which were frozen . Of cause that is not the owners fault and he tried to fix it as quick as possible...

The Cabin was super cozy with cute decoration and nice interior. It was an awesome experience to stay there. We had a nice view at the bay. There was a pot of snow that had made out stay even more exciting. Location is super, close to Akureyi.

Very cute and comfy cabin. Great views. Hosts were friendly and great communication. Had all the basic necessities. Was clean and well kept. Was quiet and just why we needed for our stopover in North Iceland. Molly, the rabbit, was always there to great us, very adorable.

Unbelievable cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and even a hot whirlpool outside. Located in the wood, we were welcomed by Molly and Bósi the owner's bunny and dog 🐰 🐶. The Cabin overlooks the fjorð and even if it's in a remote area it's very easy to find following maps directions. The owners were available and super kind.

- the window was left open, so when we entered, there were lots of flies welcoming us. We killed six at night... - the WiFi wasn't working properly, we did ask the host but the issue has not been solved. - there was no coffee machine provided (but the coffee pods?) and the only thing that looks like the filter coffee maker/presser (?) was not functioning.

The wifi did not work and when I asked the owner he did not seem too interested in helping me get it figured out. There were areas in the kitchen that could have been cleaner.

The location is very nice and the one cabin has a view. I liked the space inside.
