A little treasure in the middle of Breiddalsvik. Very friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. We had a really good sleep! The dinner in the restaurant was really good.

Thanks to a flat tire we arrived many hours later than expected and appreciated the quick check-in to this spacious and comfortable hotel. No luck finding a restaurant after 8:00 - the nearby brewery doesn't serve food - then, after returning to the hotel, we discovered that their dining room was closing. We should have looked at the posted hours, our fault. But the ending is a good one. The reception manager talked to the chef who made us dinner, one of the absolute best during our 18 days in Iceland. Compliments to the chef. Eat here if you can. He's a superstar.

Cute little hotel located in a quiet town. We absolutely enjoy our stay. The hospitality from the staff and manager is just beyond our expectations. They opened the buffet breakfast just for us as we were the only guests staying that night - what a lovely gesture! We have stayed a few hotels in Iceland (including the Retreat at Blue Lagoon) but this hotel is top of the list!

Got a wrong room number from my booking so I woke someone up when we arrived. Had to call for information to the correct room. Window faced a gravel road where vehicles drove past at all hours. Nightstands were cheap ikea stools. Poor value for money, no breakfast included but possible to add for a high fee.

Room is tiny and furniture is barely basic. Shower room doesn’t have shampoo or shower gels. Due to the unclear instructions we had difficulty finding the door to the second floor. It was raining and cold at night, while the staff was reluctant to open the door for us.

Felt scammed, food very expensive two times more expensive than place next to it and it was cold.... Worst place I have slept in ages, had horrible pillows and random light that shines every hour waking me up. Horrible... Expensive and bad facilities

Breakfast was disgusting, especially the pancakes - they tasted like rancid old stuff which laid there for over a week. Also only one type of sausage/cheese. Breakfast not worth a cent.

The hotel booking out their dining room to a bus tour who were not staying in the hotel! Hotel guests were initially told they had to eat somewhere else when there really isn't much of an option anywhere else. The only other place served only pizza after 6:00pm!

The rooms were a bit noisy and the bathroom was small. The tv only had 4 channels and 3 did not work. Not much around but a good base..

The hotel rooms are very lovely and the beds comfortable. There is a 24 hour sitting room with drinks and snacks available to buy and free coffee , this room was lovely. The reception staff were lovely. Breakfast was good as was the evening meal.

The walls were paper thin and could here coughing and conversation through the walls. I know I snore so I hope I didn’t bother the folks in the other rooms.

Rooms were not really soundproof, we could hear neighboring room’s showers and toilet flushing and a bit of conversation, but we were lucky that everyone was quiet at night.

Nice rooms and comfortable beds, with a tiny sauna (no showers there currently, had to use the one in our room, but was nice anyway). Good breakfast buffet if you decide to pay for it (can be done spontaneously right before breakfast).
