Soundproofing. Corridor noise is quite noticeable, and the dragging of room chairs also (felt feet would help).

Breakfast was not so great. Relatively poor food presentation for the price. Beds were a bit small, but again more european style.

Great location, amazing rainwater shower. Small rooms (european) but fine. The breakfast is so-so. Ok but not high-end. There are many places to eat outside the hotel that are in walking distance so I would take advantage of that. If you are doing excursions other than the Northern Lights secure breakfast at the hotel as you will be leaving early. Overall it was a good stay. Staff was super nice and helpful. I would recommend.

We chose to not have a clean one morning due to Aurora hunting the night before and we thought that we would have a clean later but didn’t- quick chat with reception and all sorted. So not really a problem

Loved our stay at The Borg Hotel, beautiful hotel and room. Location was excellent very close to a lovely selection of bars and restaurants and a convenience shop, yet the area was very quiet no noise from the street. Our room was on the 5th floor and had a great view out over the city so we saw lots of fireworks during our stay for little Christmas. Bus stop 3 for tour pick up was just around the corner. The hotel and room were very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful with booking airport transfer. Looking forward to returning in the future!

There is bar playing loud music 1st floor in the building of one hotel block. So guests are asked to be patient until 1AM until loud music stops in accordance with local regulation. We don't consider it is adequate for hotel pretending for up-scale status. The breakfast is acceptable with some funny exemptions, e.g. fried eggs are offered cold, meaning that frying process took place long before breakfast time, maybe evening before. When you kindly indicate that the waiter without any empathy proposes to inform the chef...

Interior is nice art-deco, rooms are comfortable.

The bar should be open on a Monday and Tuesday too. The lift waiting times were also very long.

The bar across the road played very loud music that could be easily heard from our room. Fresh milk in the from for tea/coffee would be nice

no nice view and size of bedroom a bit small for price, and the TV was programmed in Spanish, which staff was unable to switch to English. Man at breakfast "welcome counter" very curt, and seemed resentful that we had appeared (within scheduled time).

Front desk staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Location was excellent. Breakfast staff mostly very pleasant, and the selection of food was excellent. Room's Art Deco decor was nice and bathroom was spacious and well designed.

Would have liked to be able to get hotter water in room shower, but the hot tub and steam room in the spa did the trick. Only one small bath towel in the room, but house keeping cheerfully gave me another one. I had a huge heavy duffle bag and two other bags, and as not offered bag service or mention of a bag trolley.

Super friendly staff, face cloths in bath, lots of outlets, spa was wonderful. I had a facial and the technician was amazing. Quality and selection of breakfast buffet was superb. Was able to get early check in. Great bartender. Loved the Art Deco architecture. Location could not have been better.

Parking! There is none and recommendations for street parking was confusing if you don’t know the city well. Also, the bar apparently is “booked” on tuesdays and wednesdays so I couldn’t get a drink at my own hotel?! Also, there should be some sort of welcome drink and lotion in the bathrooms.

The size of the room and the size of the bathroom. Nearly no place to put on cosmetic and teethbrush and pasta
