I wish we could spend more time there

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! It was super cute and very functional — everything we needed was provided. The location is absolutely fantastic. We were lucky enough to see the aurora borealis in April, right outside the cottage! It was an unforgettable experience, and we even managed to capture some amazing photos. There's also a restaurant nearby, which was really convenient. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy stay in a beautiful setting!

The place where is located is very windy. We had problems sleeping despite the earplugs.

We liked everything. Just that car parking was away from the cottage and carrying baggage between our car and cottage was a little difficult.

It is very thoughtfully equipped, well maintained, clean place. Wide open spaces, privacy were added features. Stalk was very responsive, helpful and supportive.

The location was amazing and the reception and dining was better than we expected. The outside doesn't give an indication of how nice it is inside! We were told there was no dining there, and ate dinner elsewhere, so it should be advertised in the listing that meals are available. Breakfast was very nice. You could prepay, which we didn't know, or pay that day.

The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows weren’t great either.

The cabin was cute & clean. It had everything we needed. The surrounding area was beautiful! There is a large waterfall within walking distance & an old bridge. The valley is stunning. The restaurant was good & the staff were friendly.

Shower dripped constantly. No chairs on front porch. A few more hooks for clothes would have been nice.

The waste box was full of waste, also some tissues was on the bedside table thus creating the sense that the cottage has been cleaned in a great hurry, or someone has changed only the bed sheets. The lamp on the bedside table was dummy, because there wasn't any contact where to plug it in. The doors to the bedroom wasn't possible to close. Wi-fi very slow.

The cottage is close to the main road and it' s very convenient. So as we checked in very late and it was rainy, then we cannot describe the environment. It is Ok, But just for one night.

The food at the barn restaurant was not very good. We just had dinner. We did not try the breakfast.

It was a lovely clean cottage with comfortable beds and a pretty common area. The bathroom was also nice and larger than some of the other cottage bathrooms.

a place like many in Iceland - a traditional wooden house with basic equipment. Hot water, heating, quiet neighborhood. a stopover on my way through this beautiful country.
