This was easily the best place we stayed in our 8 day tour of Iceland. The property was clean, the room was modern and luxurious, and the views of the surrounding landscape can't be beat. Would absolutely stay here again.

main thing, the menu, the were 3 meals, lamb, fish and tartar, nothing I would eat, not a vegetarian, but also not a big meat / fish eater, so I wish they had a better selection and it would be nice if they'd have a little fridge in the room, especially since their meal selection isn't every big.

Shower curtain kept blowing inward. There should be a way to hook it to the inside of the shower stall. Was afraid I would flood the room.

I liked all- maybe there could be a desk in room 309 to write or work at. But maybe it comes later after all the rebuilding?

Fantastic location. Comfortable and clean. Glorious views. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The dinning staff were so so friendly. I’d 100% recommend. Oh and next door to the Budir Church. Took some wonderful sunrise pics.

The location and isolation that it brought. It’s perch right up by an inlet full of ducks and geese. The restaurant was extraordinary, serving high quality menu items like lamb and fresh-caught cod, and the host and servers were nice and friendly. Nice bar area and great photos of the black church. Saw the northern lights on the first night in 85-mile winds!

Our suite was beautifully situated so that we could overlook the water inlet and wildlife. Very comfortable accommodations with a great restaurant and bar.

We had dinner in the restaurant -- not much choice because there are no other restaurants nearby. The food was excellent, but it was all very high-end "foodie" dishes, and very expensive. Great if that's what you are in the mood for.

Beautiful facilities, many parts looked new. Spectacular location. The staff was great. They asked if we would like to have them knock on our door if auroras were sighted. They did knock on our door, and we saw some beautiful auroras. All the better because the location is isolated with very dark skies.

We stayed in the recently remodeled section and we loved everything about this hotel. It's my new standard for what I will look for when traveling. Beautiful rooms, small balcony over looking the beach, amazing food, best breakfast we had in Iceland. Great staff and amazing bar tender.

The slanted roof in the bedroom and the shower/tub.

The staff were very nice. Restaurant was good. Expensive but good. Views and scenery outside was awesome.

We were in the older section which required us to exit the main building and go across a rooftop link to our room, tricky with big bags and cold weather. The car park was full and seemingly could not cope with the quantity of people.

Not much in the area so it was a good spot to see this peninsula. Room had good views.

Dinner at the hotel was exceptional. The menu isn't huge but both the Cod and the lamb were among the best I have ever had anywhere. Breakfast was good and sufficient choices. The room was very comfortable. Loved the way the bathroom light could be dimmed for a nightlight. My only annoyance was insufficient space to hang wet towels.

The location was superb for exploring the Snaefellsness Peninsula. The restaurant meals were very good, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
