Very comfortable room and bed. Air conditioning was well appreciated. They had a big common room where I was able to work. The toilets and shower were very clean. Also very well located with a metro station nearby.

I stayed in July. I feel the price was a little high. Other then that it was great.

Property was easy to get to. Great location. Very clean,Organized. Felt very safe. Bathroom were pretty clean. You could see they tried to stay on top of keeping them clean. Kitchen was clean and organized. Had what you needed. It was my first time staying in a Hostel and I would do it again because of my experience. They bed was very comfortable. You got a pillow and a blanket.

Staff was gloomy, giving the place a very cold vibe. Unfortunately I didn't look up the location properly, the hostel is not located at the BSI Bus Terminal as I assumed. Room was stuffy and very sparsely furnished, no coat hangers. Towels were not included.

I rarely write negative reviews but I have to now. I specifically asked if we as a group of 4 could leave our luggage there. I received a message stating that I can store luggage with them for free. Then in the morning at 6:20 they tell me "oh thats just the general welcome message the truth is I cant. 1: why is it then in the generic welcome message??? 2: they really were okay with me finding a storage location at 6:20 in the morning in high season 3: they handled my problem with no understanding or kindness, I was basically told by the 2 guys at the reception to f off and that the girl who promised me that they would store our luggage has already been fired.. NEVER AGAIN

There is a shared kitchen - but well, as it's always the case in such places, how you see it depends on other travellers... so in our case - having plenty of cooked noodles in the sink is quite disgusting. Fellow travellers should respect themselves and others (this is, of course, not the fault of the hostel - it can be a perfectly clean kitchen and 30min after turned in a disgusting place by others). Our room was super hot, when we arrived. It was a nice day and sun was shining... the room was really hot, despite having a window open. There are no towels provided, which is really a pity. There are no window shades in the room...which in Iceland (in the summer time, when most people travel) is really, really unfortunate. You don't want always to sleep with an eye mask on.

Location is quite OK - not far (on foot) from the BSI station and also from the city center - so ideal if you need to catch an early bus (like we needed), and of course - it's cheap. Showers/toilets were very clean.

- staff was rude - sheets were uncomfortable - I could feel the springs in the mattress - bathrooms were full each morning - blood stains on a pillow case - no blackout curtains and the curtains that they did had didn't cover the entire window - room was uncomfortably hot during the day - shared fridges were packed and dirty - key cards stopped working multiple times

This is not the fault of the hostel itself, but a 20-bed room was slightly odd. I booked this room because of the price but would likely not do that again.

The building has a good potential but is very bad managed. The staff doesn't welcome you at all. Not a smile. The huge reception desk doesn't help. The staff clearly needs training. The corridor seems a storage area. The toilet seat in one of the toilet was broken (and dangerous) and was not fixed in 3 days.

The location is a good departure point to explore the city centre. It is just outside of the centre and you reach the main city destinations in 15 minutes walk

Staff available 24 hours. They were polite but I can't say that they are friendly. Since there is always a bus arriving and leaving, it is actually quite noisy and disturbing at night when your room is facing the main door. The nearest supermarket or convenience store is quite far away.

Hostel just next to bus terminal, which is convenient when you arrived Reykjavík in late hour. Tidy and clean bathrooms, and quite a number of bathrooms available for all guests. There is no need to wait for the toilet nor bathroom.
