I couldn’t see how to reduce the temperature of the heater in my room, which was a little too toasty for my liking. There was a small fan in the room, though, and I was able to crack open the window so that I could find a comfortable temperature.

The cabin was beautiful, to start. It was an inviting, clean and cozy place and I wish I had arrived earlier so I could have kicked back and relaxed there a little longer. The beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic - spacious, hot water, good pressure. The host was friendly and he kindly prepared me some soup when I arrived even though it looked like the kitchen had closed up for the night. There was also a reindeer on the property and two very friendly dogs which came over to say hello in the morning.

We didn't have cell service for this international trip, and had some trouble reaching staff for check-in. Mid-week during the off season it was very quiet! I can imagine the space being more bustling during the summer.

Beautiful space! We ended up in the guesthouse with one other solo traveler--the house was gorgeous, with lots of beautiful details, and very much felt like we were staying in someone's home. Would be great for big groups. We ended up all eating together, and had their lamb soup for dinner, which was AMAZING.

In lazy town, there are 4 rooms upstairs and no toilets. Very inconvenient to climb down the stairs if you need it. The kitchen sponge was very stinky, even left a smell on hands and the drying rag was quite useless and old, both need changing. The heater in our room wasn't working and it was quite cold.

Nice place, very clean, cozy and homey. Super quiet and chilled area with very nice attentive staff. Food in the restaurant was delicious, would recommend having dinner there.

The facilities were beautiful, the cabin is not old but it is a vintage style. We got to see the northern lights and arctic foxes! The restaurant's food was delicious too! I wished we had stayed longer, it is a really good place to relax if you want a break from driving and traveling, I would have probably done two days here. Staff members were very friendly. Now, if I could give them 100 stars for their customer service I would. We got stuck in the snow late at night while on our way to this reservation, the app we were using didn't show us that it was closed and right as we entered the snow we got stuck, we tried to push the car as the pavement was a few inches behind it but we just couldn't get out. I called the hotel and without having to, the gentlemen who answered me got help for us, I was honestly freaking out because we had children with us, we were in the middle of nowhere late at night but he reassure me everything was going to be okay and asked me for a few minutes to try and see who could help us, he called me after a few minutes to ask a few questions and then again to let us know help was on the way. Since we were still kind of far it took them a while to arrive, check in time had past but the gentlemen kindly waited for us. I didn't have the opportunity to meet him as my husband is the one who got down to get the keys for our cabin but if you read this sir, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I will be forever grateful! and to the locals who went out to help us THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The bedroom and bathroom door was a bit loud opening and might need some hinge adjusting or oiling. And the room key was in process of being replaced so we did not receive one. That felt a bit unsafe, though the area did not.

Listen, did I give this guesthouse an extra star just because there were wild goats at the entryway when I went to to check in? Yes, I did. The check in and restaurant area is lovely as is the food. The guesthouse itself was clean and quiet.

We had several electrical outlets that didn’t work, both in our room and in the kitchen. I looked for a breaker panel but couldn’t find it. Guessing they had a fuse popped because all of the outlets were on the same wall. It really wasn’t a big deal though.

The location is amazing! Our shared house had a great living room and even had a super nice cat that hung out with us. Great place to view the aurora.

The room was clean overall but there were some hair on the shower drain.

We had a free room upgrate so we got a room with a private bathroom. The room was amazing, very comfortable and we had access to a lounge with a coffee machine and a fridge so that we can have our own breakfast. The stuff was really kind and let us use the shared kitchen to cook dinner as we originally had planned. The kitchen was spacious, clean and well equipped.

Caution if you have a small car. Road is not paved to access the place. We had to rush out in the morning due to the snow starting to fall as we did not want to be stocked there. Still worth going out of snow season.

7km off from the road 1 in the highlands turfed house. Restaurant offering Iceland dishes. This is an amazing place. Friendly

The building we're staying in with 6-7 rooms had only 1 shower, and the water stream in the shower was very weak (if you don't want to take a cold shower which I don't), so it took ages to wash my long hair, and some guest were very upset that the shower was occupied for a longer time :/

Nice location, rustic style, clean. Has a kitchen. There were a few domestic rabbits running around.

There wasn’t much noise canceling in the walls so no one in the guesthouse really could go to sleep until everyone in the guesthouse went to bed.

Beautiful setting with the buildings integrated into the farm and surrounded landscape. Room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable.
