Spectacular site with views over the lava fields and Lake Myvatn. Interior beautifully designed with natural wood and attractive textiles. Spacious rooms, excellent bedding and lighting. All staff are exceptional: helpful, professional, warm. The breakfast buffet was copious with many options, though the cost is not included in the cost of the room. Restaurant menu is impressive with delicious vegetarian options.

The room was super cozy and very modern, clean and spacious enough for 3 adults. The restaurant was delightful for a fancy dinner, the food was amazing (albeit pricey) paired with a stunning view. Staff here are super helpful, my partner slipped on the ice and cut his hand, they were able to offer him multiple bandages to cover his wounds.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was beautiful, clean and large. Best shower during our entire holiday. The people were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The surroundings are also beautiful. Definitely recommended to stay for a night.

Exceeded our expectations!! Staff were super friendly and great to talk to. Buffet breakfast included was amazing! So much to choose from. We got upgraded as well which was a bonus. Would've been a great spot for northern lights but it was cloudy the night we stayed there. Highly recommend staying here!

Previous reviews here mention the hotel providing aurora wake up calls, we enquired with reception and they said they don’t offer it because the reception is not open 24 hours. This was very disappointing because we chose this hotel thinking they would offer this service.

The triple room was spacious and nicely decorated. The little balcony was a nice touch that we were not expecting. The hotel has beautiful surroundings, it was still beautiful even though we didn’t pick a room with lake view, it would have been nicer with a lake view though. The breakfast was really nice.

The room is a little bit small considering the high fee. It seems to be a little bit expensive.

It’s very nice to have bathrobe in the room, very continent for nature bath. The facilities are fully equipped. The breakfast is good.

We had dinner in the hotel on the first night of 4 and it was disappointing, the food wasn't well prepared so we ate in other hotels for the remainder of our visit.

The location and the view from the hotel were amazing. The breakfast was good and the staff in the dining area were great. The room was perfectly clean and the beds were comfortable.
