The Hotel is located in a great area, you can see the Skaftafell glacier from your room and get to a beutifull lake within a short walk. The Staff was lovely and supper helpfull, room was of a regular size, enough space for what we needed but very clean. We stayed for 2 nights and had an amazong experience. Ther bar has a great view to the Glacier as well. I'll highly recomended

it provides basic hotel amenities in the room, but we get to witness aurora here!! you can take a short hike to get to Svinafellsjokull glacier tongue, it was shorter than the one that you should get if you want to see Svinafelsjokull

The size of the room is ridiculous for 3 adults, the bathroom should be renovated and the rooms are not soundproofed (we could hear the alarm clock in the room at our left and people snoring all night at our right). It wasn't a relaxing night at all!

the best hotel we want to in iceland! perfect location on the ring road in the middle of nowhere, but there’s a onsite restaurant and gas station. the surrounding nature is absolutely wonderful and there’s a nice walk to do behind the hotel, to a glacier lookout viewpoint! we saw northern lights there and the staff was helpful.

Great location for visiting the glacier during the ring road trip. The room was clean, cozy and warm and the breakfast was really good. Also the receptionist was really kind and helpful, gave us tips for hiking in the area.

The hotel is very close to one of the main glaciers in Iceland, so it is a great option, if not the only one, if doing some tours around. The facilities were great. The room had a good size and the bathroom was clean. Continental breakfast included in the room rate. Probably, it was the best I had during my stay in Iceland. The staff is just outstanding. There is a smaller galcier at the back of the hotel, with several trails to explore the area. A restaurant, gas station and its shop across the road.

This was the stand-out wonderful surprise of the trip. Super welcoming staff, really incredible dinner that exceeded all expectations, and discovering a stunning glacier was just a 20 minute stroll from our room gave us one of the utter highlights of our trip to Iceland.

We were greeted in an absolutely lovely way. The room was clean and had everything one needs. The food in the evening was delicious and exactly what we were looking for- as well as the breakfast in the morning. THE BEST is the glacier right behind the hotel, just a short walk away. The greatest ending one could have for the end of the day.
