Location is great, lobby is very cosy. Breakfast has great variety and is very good, although it felt on the second day that the pastries were from the previous day and not as fresh. Room was big w everything required, shower was also a great size. Would happily stay again.

Booked a room with single beds in quiet area. Got a quiet area but not single beds. They moved us to another room at the front of the hotel. Secondary double glazing. Only one tiny window opened. Woken up every night by shouting in the street, doors banging and trucks from 4am onwards. Horrid smell from the drains or off the water. It's meant to be filtered for the tourists.. The fridge didn't work althpugh it was replaced when i mentioned it.. Shower didn't drain properly..

Size of the apartment was very good if not a little worn. Position of the hotel is excellent to be in the middle of the action.l..Lifts worked fast. Breakfast was bountiful but is continental. Nothing hot apart from the toast. All staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast room kept super clean. Tv had 2 English channels. Beds comfy.

Unique, stylish and cozy hotel right on the main shopping street. It doesn't get more centrally located than this. There's actually a lot of rooms within the compound but they have managed to maintain a small scale feel. Our room was just lovely, with plenty of space and very well designed and very clean. Amazing how quiet it was inside when outside there were some late night party people having a good time. We had the family room that came with a nice living compartment in between the two super comfortable bedrooms. Comfy couch, huge flatscreen tv. There's plenty of parking close by in different zones. We were there on the weekend when Zone 3 is free. It was about 5 -10 min walk. Breakfast was okay, little less varied as some other places we stayed in Iceland but still plenty to choose from.

2 single beds pushed together is annoying but the worst thing was the price we paid. Around £600 for 4 nights. Site advertised it was the last room so we paid without free cancellation. Only for straight after booking.com shown the same room again stating it was the last room but for only £300

Minor point: The decor in the room could do with some sprucing up in the near future.

Excellent location on a pedestrian street in the very centre of the tourist area. Clean & comfortable room. Coffee & tea available in the room, as well as a bar fridge. Good shower pressure & temperature. Decent breakfast. Helpful staff at the 24-hr reception desk. Solid Wi-Fi. Very good value for money in this central location.

Staff were not as warm & cheerful as one should be when welcoming guests. Rooms are dark without adequate lighting & small showers

It was the perfect location for us as we wanted to be right in the centre of Reykjavik. It was walking distance to everything we needed, with many food options & retail shops & the cathedral.

I wish there were better access to plugs in the room as I did struggle to find them and then remove my chargers on departure. The bathroom was quite cramped with the door swinging into the toilet.

The room was bigger than I expected from the pictures and was incredibly comfy. The bedding was soft and cozy against the January cold and the room had many facilities including a mini fridge, alarm clock, phone to reception and a safe. Location was perfect, being right by the shops.

Bathroom was very small, impossible to open/close normally the door, plus, the smell of water was present… the small window was broken and it was not possible to close it (during winter), and heating was not enough either….

It was very conveniently located in the center of Reykjavik for sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable.

Friendly staff, big rooms. It is located in Reykjavik centre, but the rooms are very quiet. Breakfast is also good.
