Cosy cabin with everything we needed for 5 pax. It was clean and nice. Coffee machine with capsules ready to use available. Comfy bed. Very nice location. Horses, swimming pool, lighthouse nearby.

The large apartment no. 4 provides more than enough soeca for a family with three kids. We’ve had wonderful stay on our last evening before tje flight back hine. Free coffee, Netflix and a restaurant in walking distance made a perfect evening!

Easy to check in, clean and warm and well equipped. Couldn't ask for better. Only wish we could have stayed longer. We had a very early flight from keflavik so decided to stay nearby and this was only 12 minutes away.

Maybe more brochures and info about what to do in that spot. The lighthouse is nice but further there are many cool stuff that we’d wanna know about - and the stairs in the 7 people apt… abit difficult if you have lots of luggage. The other apts don’t have stairs

It’s a small town not far from the airport, the 7 people apartment is real big, and comfortable. The place is windy. It’s a big apartment and a nice place to visit on the arrival.

that booking.com screwed up the booking!!

First of all, I don't know how the accomodation was, because when I arrived, the owners said that my booking has been the day before and that the appartment I booked is now occupied. I really don't know why this happened, because booking.com confirmed my stay and I thought it was clear. But unfortunately it was not. BUT... The owners of Gardur appartments deserve a big medal for friendliness, helpfulness, kindness, hospitality, patience.... Even if it was not their fault, but the one from booking.com that my booking went wrong they did everything that we (me, my wife and 3 children) didn't feel lost in the situation. They called various accomodations in the surrounding area to ask if there is a free space, even if they were busy with their little baby and a barking dog 😉. They invited us into their house, offered us coffee and water... Finally they managed to find something in Grindavik. So we had a place to stay for the night. This place was also nice...but nevertheless I would have liked to stay at Gardur Apartments. Again THANK YOU!!! I highly recommend Gardur Appartments, because of the owners!!! Next time we come to Iceland we will be there!

Everything was fine and as expected. It would have been nice to have a double bed instead of 2 singles. Other than that was great!

Really easy to check in and communication with them was great. Having the pod coffee machine is a huge plus for my mornings. The room was warm in temperature and really liked being close to the lighthouse/coast. Although there were quite a few rooms close by, it still was quiet and peaceful. Easy to check out as we had an early morning flight.

A lovely apartment to stay in Gardur. Very close to the sea and the lighthouses, a lot of green around. A great place to stay in contact with nature. Everything was very clean and nice. and it was very quiet at night. I would stay again.

The front door was bent outwards on top, so the wind and rain came in during the storm. It became very cold inside. I suggest to put some kind of insulation strip to seal the gap

Spacious, clean and comfortable! We needed a place to stay our last night before flying out of Keflavik. A bit too big for us, but that is our fault for booking last minute. This place would be perfect for a family or group that needs space for many people. Loved that it had a proper livingroom. Great facilities! We arrived late at night, so didn't get to look around the area, but the Lighthouse looked really cool! Also woke up to horses right outside the window. All in all a great place to stay.
